Thats why it is called BBA, you must relate to the rest of Africa not one region. You must be loved through out africa, thats how you win this game. But if you ban so many bridges that you cant even count, then your chances of wining become slim, because you have created more enemies than friends, simple.
oh please tell me how many bridges Bassey and Melvin burnt? This is just bullocks, there are no tools to even build bridges with cuz everybody is only interested in attacking the Nigerian rep. You need to stop making it seem like the game is fair cuz it's not and it's all Endemol's fault

He also said that he changed his mind on pursuing her after she told him not to speak about his son so much.

I hope she doesn't meet a guy that already has a kid(s) because it sounds like she's made of wicked step-mother material. The type that would be in fierce competition with the kids over their father's affections. That chick is extremely me-centric.

Wow!! For real? I'm glad Frankie ended his crush/affections over her. Ellah is annoyingly dumb, and she doesn't hide it. How can she order Frankie not to talk about the one person his life revolves around? If I was a single father and a girl I'm interested in tells me not to talk about my son, she's already off my list cos I can't marry someone that won't like my son. She's very me-centric, everything must be about her. We need somebody bold to shut her up.

I've set up the page guys. It's 'Tayo Faniran BBA'...will need admins still so y'all can like the page and then drop your FB names here so I'll know who gets what. We'll begin sharing the page by the end of today when we must have gotten up to 4 admims hopefully

what are Samantha and jj talking about now? It is so bad now that whenever I hear her voice I just automatically assume she is likely talking about tayo

She blinks a whole lot though
she has dry eyes. people who have the condition can't open their eyes too long without blinking. And if that room is air conditioned it Will affect her more. she has asked for her eye ointment before in her diary sessions.

Stop arguing with guy, he's blinded by his own biasness. Melvin burnt NO SINGLE bridge, fell out with NO HM or COUNTRY/REGION yet he ended up with one vote. If Beverly was loved more by Nigerians, she for even collect that vote from Melvin's hand. gringrin Burnt or burnt bridge, the chances of winning favours SADC countries.

From what I've been hearing, idris has started gossiping. It won't shock me if he dosen't win the money though. Let's keep voting for Tayo to win gifts and keep saving him from the extravaganza ish so that the hms will talk and talk and still not be able to nominate him and we'll see their true colours. And for those that are saying that they are discouraged to vote for Tayo's team because of sam, if they lose, sam might escape again and Tayo will not. Dats all..

Melvin unconsciously burnt several bridges,he nominated practically all the housemates ( wrong strategy) he was friends to almost everybody and a friend to none ( maybe except dillish)his goodu goodu attitude was his downfall, why he didn't create many enemies ,his playing too safe didn't leave him with much alliance ........all the housemates in the final week had people who are closer to them than they were to Melvin, even sierra Leone would have voted Beverly over Melvin (if Beverly comported herself well)because even Beverly was a lot closer to basaey than Melvin was....... The dude played a bleeped up game .

Till today I can't still understand the hype that was bassey, except his numerous sob stories and his one styled dance the dude had nothing going for him, someone here said loud was no entertainment and I agree totally ,bassey was not entertaining in anyway or form.....I found him disgusting most of the time .

Never really took idris seriously as a contender for the money,he is a cute kid no doubt but he really doesn't have that distinct personality that sets someone aside from the pack( eg tayo)anyway everything about this bba bore shots has been substandard expect a substandard winner.

Melvin burnt SEVERAL bridges by following Biggie's rules and nominating HMs? Oh, you expected him to come to nomination sessions saying "I nominate Melvin, because I don't want to burn several bridges. And I nominate Elikem/Beverly because they're my bothers, so they would understand?" What's the use of nomination session if people can't nominate HMs? Or you expected Melvin to nominate the viewers? How is nominating (a rule) in Biggie, burning bridges?

You don't grasp what's burning of bridges. Burning of bridges is Owlneal hating on an ENTIRE region and thereby killing his chances of getting votes from that region. Burning of bridges is Pokello saying fùck WA (or is it Nigerians?) not knowing the same region/country voted for her. Comprehende? wink

Now I get the hype about trezegah, the dude is indeed very funny and entertaining.... That being said,he might slowly turn into a big threat ,I see no wisdom in voting him, like someone in this thread wisely suggested Frankie is the most sensible strategic voting this week.....for those of you who love strategizing anyway ,I normally just enjoy the show and don't really care which country takes the money ,but Tayo is just too good it will be very unfair if the dude does not go home with the money.
So for the first time am going to compromise my principles, I've stopped voting Ellah, we still have four days left,if we start massive campaign and voting frankie might still take the Naija vote ....pls let's put our differences aside.

I think this submission makes a lot of sense. So I might just dump my 100votes for frankie at lunchtime. My heart screams Trez as he's been such a funny dude to watch and a dependable ally to my boy Tayo but at this time, Frankie looks more sure a safe bet. Hope I'm justified come sunday.

I'm sorry Trez, hope you survive sunday..

Decanta, I agree with you that Melvin being friends with everybody killed his game cos at the end of the day, no one except Dillish and Elikem was truly his friend/close friend. He didn't align with any particular HM and hence, why no region reached out to vote for him.

Melvin didn't fall out with any region or housemate, but he didn't build a special bond with any, either - so, when the chips were down, those countries went for their 'besties'.
Elikem was hated in Tanzania and Botswana, but LOVED in Zimbabwe.
Uti was hated in Zimbabwe and South Africa, but LOVED in Kenya and Uganda.
Dillish and Namibia were hated by SADC for their constant butt-licking of EA and West Africa, but strongly supported by Oshiomhole Nigerians and East Africans.

It's about PICKING a side and running with it, regardless of the number of toes you step on; regardless of the number of enemies you make.
Melvin just wanted to be 'cool' with everybody, played safe and acted tortured whenever he was called in to nominate.
He didn't burn any bridges, but he didn't build much either.

He's more advantaged than other HMs. Biggie shouldn't be bringing established celebs like Macky2 to compete against relatively unknown HMs. This is why Mira was sacrificed for Trezegah.

You're right, and I acceded later in my post to Decanta that he didn't build any special bond with any HM. If checked properly, I'm sure Melvin got Nigerians vote by few percentage over Beverly fans' votes. Apart from Wendall (who we know was compensated cos of Munya) and few other winners, I doubt any winner didn't burn bridges along the way to his or her victory.

And besides, 300+ thousand dollars is no ärsewipe. That is a lot of cash in any African currency. It's worth a shot even for a Kwaaaks...cha millionaire like himself. Win/win situation either way.

Yes oh, but Bros, Wendall wasn't 'compensated' oooo!
Wendall won as a result of the flawless brilliance of the Zimbabweans that season. I know what I'm saying. I was a quiet observer of the Facebook pages right from the sidelines in 2011.
The same wisdom they applied is what I've been trying to convince us into using here, but it hasn't been very successful.

These Zimbos would observe the nominees every week, take note of the disadvantaged ones, and then, VOTE for them. So, in the end, when the housemate crashed out with just the home country and Zimbabwe as votes, the home country would show gratitude to Zimbabwe by voting Wendall.
These guys voted Malawi, Uganda and even Nigeria that season.
They were the most brilliant that year. Luclay fans still can't work out what hit them that year.
