@ blueberry, try isalu hospital off wempco road, ogba. Gave birth there some months ago. It was recommended to me as well. God is present in that hospital and in the lives of the midwives.

Thanks to u all & to other pushing mama, Almighty God will make it easy for everyone. here goes my birth story, u guys know dat i was sent home on Thursday because i was not having contraction but i was 4cm dilated. I didn't go to d hospital since then not until Saturday morning when my water broke, i ended up at d hospital around 11:00am. They told me i was 5cm dilated but i was not having any contraction, later in d nite my doctor now told me dat since am not having contraction dat they will induced me very early d next day. I wake up around 3:17am with abdominal pain & leg pain, I couldn't sleep any more. Around 4:30am d contraction has really increased, one of d nurse came to check me, i told her how i was feeling. Around 7:24am d contraction was much, my doctor examine my vagina & he said i was 8 cm dilated. d pain was too much for me bear& i was shouting. Around 8:05am i said i want to poo, he said i should follow him to d labour room for him to check maybe i really want to poo or d baby is coming. on getting there he said madam dis is d time we are waiting for, he said u can now push. I push thrice & he came out at exactly 8:14am,I was not induce. To cut d long stoty short, I finally delivered my little boy on sunday morning at exactly 38weeks & 5days.

In aboki's voice "bery bery normal. I was a size 39 before preggs, but I became a size 41 during and few months after preggs. NA wetin we dey see for the journey be that o. Enjoy ur big feet, runs out of thread

This is my birth story, though its long over due but is better late than never
I woke up on the 11th of Oct, took my normal kpe dosage, went about cleaning my house cause my mom was travelling down.At about 2:20pm started seeing blood and was so scared that the kpe has done something drastic, was reassured that it was show, like 2hrs later I started having pains.
Went to the hospital around 7:20pm and was told I was 2cm dialiated and should go home, I opted to stay cause the contractions was not far apart.
I was induced around 1am then the actual pains started,I was groaning at first, but later started shouting when I couldnt bear the, the lady beside me adviced me otherwise telling me of the case of two ladies that morning who screamed the same I did, one lost her baby and the other's baby was in neo natal. I changed from my screaming to Jesus is Lord, but still scream when I cant bear it.
Around 6:30am I was 8cm diliated and was taking to the delivery room, my water was broken, I was in so much pain that I messed up the whole place. I felt like pooing and was told not to that I ll rupture my cevice if I do, at a point was 10cm but when I was told to push nothing came out, was poked and I was back to 8cm, all this while I was still be induced, the nurses handed over and I still remained 8cm.
The pains were so much and unbearable, I started singing "My God is awesome". When the nurse that took over came, she was furious was with me for making a mess of the place. She felt LO's heartbeat, was not satisfied and went to call another nurse, the nurse said all is well, but the nurse was not convinced, she went to call 3 docs if I could remember, they all felt my Lo's regular heartbeat, but each time this particular nurse feels it my baby's heartbeat was irregular. They started speaking in low tones, then I knew something was wrong, they kept poking me but I was still 8cm and has refused to progress, they could feel my baby's head but that was it. The same nurse came in and placed me on oxcygen, I was so uncomfortable that each time I have a contraction I ll push the oxcygen away that was when she told me it was not for me but for my baby that he is going into distress. Fast fast I placed it back, they kept examing me but I was still same, at around 12:40pm the doctors told the nurse that they should watch me for 15mins then call it, by this time I was already dosing in between contractions. when they said 15mins I just told them they should do it cause I couldnt continue again
Was taken to the theater and at 1:40pm my son was brought out with cord all over is body which was preventing him from coming out. The miracle was that feared something was already wrong with him, but God was faithful, he was okay and has the strongest and sharpest voice I have ever heard. Thank God for God my sisters, cause during the pains I couldnt pray out but kept praying in my heart that my baby and I will come out alive.
May it be easy for all our pushing moms, mother and baby alive.

We went to cashier to pay na eim one woman call us to d side and say make we wait thje senior doc( he went on vac) to come back o say e go beta for us. Nne I kocha my buhind tapu oso. Maybe she has a failure story to tell me I no wait to hear o. Na dec he go show.

Here is my birth story: my Edd was 21/10/14, my Edd came and pass without any sign of labour,I was worried I went to see my doctor,He said I sud relax that if by next wk I did not see any sign he will induce me.I went back home weekend came and pass no sign was observed,On monday I started havin slight back and tommy pain, I went inside τ̅☺ lie down waitin for d strong pain.suddenly I heard one sound from my tummy I first tot may be my water has broke I stood up from bed to check, what I saw scared me everywhere is filled wit blood.I was d only one at home I ran to the bathroom the blood was still gushin I had to call my sister inlaw who is nearby she came and took me to hospital. The doctor said he wants to examine me I removed the big towel I used cos 10 pads can not soak the blood that do come out at interval, he was shocked wen he saw the blood because I don't av any pregnancy complication. I was rushed quickly in to the ultrasound room and I was told after d scan that my placenta is in d right place but it has detached from the baby therefore the baby wud av started swallowin blood. C/s is d only solution I accepted my fate. To make d matter worse my blood group is O negative and wit d blood av lost d doctor said we sud go and get 2pint of blood ready,one of them suggested that they sud 1st check my pcv,To d glory of God my pcv came out 38% they said they can continue and we sud not worry about blood. 30min after my princess was brought out alive weighin 3.5kg without avin any problem,the doctor have already told my husband before d C/s dt my baby wud be no more that they will only save me cos she wud av drank more than enough blood but doctor jesus surprised them by savin me and my baby. Indeed God is great.Am sorry for d long epistle.

hey ladies, am new here and had a good time reading the posts. The journey to motherhood is a very tough one but quite rewarding. I am preggy with my 2nd child and so far i have had a good ride just like the first. but then, i have this fear anytime i remember my first delivery. I had a cervical tear and bled so badly i almost lost my life due to poor handling/management. "Jesus simply revived me" but it was so scarry........that I don't want to go back to that hospital(it was an air force hospital). Now i use a private hospital for my ante-natal and i still do not feel satisfied with their services yet. I don't know if it is me or I don't feel quite right that I don't have a connection with them especially the gynecologist as he is always uptight. Am getting close gradually and I feel i need to change to a good hospital/doctor. I need help with suggestions around ikeja/ogba pls, pls, pls. Ultimately I know Jesus has got me but you can never be too careful with certain things.
