189 - SOL
190/489 - CSOL

NOTE: Not all occupations on the CSOL have a state sponsoring them...So check each state list.

You all don't have to go at the same time, but they have to enter Australia before the initial entry date stated on their visas, or else they lose the PR.

If you decide not to include them in your visa application, you will have to apply for a spouse visa and child visa...and that can take a long time.
also I've noticed dat we don't talk abt 186 and 187 here is it dat 9ja is not part of dat arrangement? Cos after reading ur post above I remember a link u posted abt d visa stuff I open d pdf I downloaded n saw d non point base visa dats y I asked if we r exempted from dat

You need to have worked for sometime in Australia & be nominated by a suitable Australian employer before you will be eligible for those visa. So tell us if you are exempted or not tongue tongue

As far as SVP is concerned, you do not need items 7, 9, 10, 11. I'm sure you have already signed an SVP declaration form attached to your admission offer letter. If not, the Uni wouldn't have issued a CoE. However, I have come to realise that agents tend to ask for whatever documents they could think of, irrespective of the visa category.

Since you do not have the statement of account available, talk to your agent to let you submit your visa application without it. I understand they may be unwilling to accept this request. It is highly unlikely that the embassy would request for it as it is not a requirement under SVP.

In addition, do not forget to include a Statement of Purpose (max 2pages) as it is very important.

@Futuredon, i would like to have your email, i have some urgent questions to ask you.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply,

I hope if I now apply to school under SVPs and having been refuse a student visa under AL3 on SOA grounds, My case officer at DIBP @ the Australian high commission won't think I just want to use the SVPs thing to escape into Australia.

Need experience Niders to please do justice to my question.
Exactly my concern.... This people keep records and they always ask if you have been denied visa before. I suggest you make arrangement for SOA ( not necessarily your relative) then apply and start praying.

Getting a positive skills assessment is what you need to focus on now, you should also consider between the two of you who has a better chance of getting positive assessment.

Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by walmak(m): 11:00pm On Nov 10, 2014
Thank you for the response. I spoke with their representative on phone and she made me to realize there is no need to send a hard copy of my certificate as they have the uploaded soft copy already. I hope I'm still on point. Though I read on the web to post my cert. Who's confused here? Just trying to dot my I's and cross my tees.
bossladyMo:

It states clearly on their website that degree certificates to be posted and transcript to be sent by the issuing institution

There is no way around it. My school accepted to include a certified copy of my cert, along with the transcript...all I did was give them a copy, so I didn't have to send seperately.

30-35k. You'd need your full years tuition, and at least half of the following year

@walmark

Sending your certificate won't hurt anyway. If you can make the school send it.... Fine. If not, you can go to a business center, make them scan and print it on a conqueror paper, and send. If sending through sho or FedEx is pricy, go to the post office and request for the registered mail. It actually gets there but takes up to 2 weeks . That would cost u less than 1k. Best of luck

Well, am not a radiographer, Nwokenna is, however the process is the same. Your occupation Medical Diagnostic Radiographer 251211 is on the skilled occupation list SOL

the process is like this:
1. IELTS ACADEMIC 7.0 with no band less than 7.0
2. SKills Assessment by the Australian Institute of Radiography http://www.air.asn.au/overseasass.php
3. Expression of Interest EOI
4. Visa Application
5. Welcome to Australia!

But go here first and take the points test: you will need at least 55points to start. http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/189.aspx

This booklet explained all the steps from start to finish http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1119.pdf

Good evening sir, by naija time. Hope you are fine. Does it mean radiographers do not write professional exam after positive assessment , just like MLS?
Re: General Australian Visa Enquiries by Otunba4eva: 8:37pm On Nov 11, 2014
Actually I think I still stand a chance of getting my visa if I can package my application very well despite been denied before. I want someone to please tell me the schools to apply to under SVPs and that has less hurdles. The course is computer science or software related course. Waiting for wise response from any experience Nairaland moderators.

I am not sure they have a professional exam as part of the assessment, you only need to register with APHRA to get your practicing licence but that can wait after your visa has been granted, however I am not a radiographer. You need to mail AIR and ask any question you may have, you can also pm nwokenna, he has gone through the process successfully and has been in Aussie since December last yr.
I guess the most difficult part of Radiographer's assessment is IELTS, Academic minimum Band 7.0 in each of the four sections of the test.

I and the kids spent about 2 21/2hrs...and this was partly because the doc and I were involved in a conversation, aside from just the medical examination. My husband went alone and spent about 1hr total.

The distance between the 2 isn't far....1k cab should get you to St. Noch from Fatayi Williams.

I spent just about 30mins at St.Nicholas(Radiology).
