Stella oduahs company for instance was later indicted for subsidy fraud, this Stella was also in charge of the neighbour to neighbour bullshit in vogue then.

You are right.. One of the Major indicted fellow is Mr. Ifeanyi TAN Ubah. The Coordinator of TAN and Campaigner of Jonathan.

He was indicted by Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede-led 15-man Presidential panel on the Subsidy for an alleged N43.291b fuel subsidy scam.
Till today, he is yet to be brought to Justice

The Federal High Court in Lagos has awarded N10 million in favour of Capital Oil & Gas and its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ifeanyi Ubah.

The sum was awarded as damages against the Inspector General Of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, the Commissioner of Police of the Special Fraud Unit, Tunde Ogunsakin, the Chairman of Access Bank, Mr Aig-Imokhuede, and the CEO of Coscharis Motors, Cosmas Maduka jointly for breach of the fundamental human rights of Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah.

In his judgment, Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke quashed and set aside the Presidential Report on Fuel Subsidy by Aig-Imokhuede and the Police Interim Report that indicted Ifeanyi Ubah on fuel subsidy.

In quashing the report, the court held that it was not obtained under a favourable condition as there was conflict of interest arising from the report of Aig-Imokhuede.

The court also faulted the police report compiled by Mr. Tunde Ogunsakin who is also a member of the presidential task force which indicted him on the fuel subsidy.

The court held that they were both investigators and prosecutors at the same time and also restrained the police from re-arresting or investigating the capital oil boss.

It will be recalled that Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah had filed a suit challenging the Presidential Report on Fuel Subsidy and his detention in custody for 10 days.

Justice Abdul Kafarati of a Federal High Court in Abuja, Thursday, issued an order of perpetual injunction restraining the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from prosecuting the Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and his company over their alleged complicity in petroleum subsidy fraud.

The court further barred the Inspector General of Police, IGP, and the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, SAN, from taking any step towards prosecuting the applicants.

Besides, Justice Kafarati, while delivering judgment in a fundamental rights enforcement suit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/284/2013 filed by Ubah and his company, faulted a recent invitation sent to the applicants by the EFCC.
Consequently, he granted four out of five prayers the applicants raised in their suit which challenged the decision of the anti-graft agency to re-investigate the complaint that Ubah and his company were involved in the petroleum subsidy fraud.

Ubah and his company had argued that it was wrong for the EFCC, IGP, AGF and any other agency of the government to want to prosecute them over the same issue on which a Federal High Court in Lagos had exonerated them by virtue of its February 18, 2013 judgment in suit number: FHC/CS/07/2013 and a report by the House of Representatives committee which investigated the fuel subsidy fraud.
They also relied on a letter dated February 12, 2013 written by the Police Special Fraud Unit, D Department to the Minister of Finance, clearing them of any criminal complicity in the allegation of subsidy fraud made against them.

Justice Kafarati declared that [size=14pt]the February 18 judgment, the House of Representatives’ committee report and the police letter of February 12 “collectively tantamount to a complete and final exoneration of any criminal offence with regard to application for receipt of subsidy payment under the Federal Government of Nigeria Petroleum Support Fund , PSF, scheme.”[/size]

Anonimi have started again, according to your article, UBAH was not completely exonerated. He was awarded N10million for "being in custody beyond 24 hours" in the first article. The court also ruled that Ogunsakin of the Special Fraud Unit cannot Prosecute Ubah because he was a Member of the Presidential Committee NOT because Ubah was innocent.

Your second Article boil down to restraining Injunction and not acquittal. Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah should stop exploiting the court and face his trila. If he was Innocent, he won't opt of a perpetual Injucntion. Read Well

1. The Feb 18 Ruling that said the Police and EFCC can't Prosecute him because the Police was the Investigator in the matter. Not that Ubah was Innocent.

2. It is a Shame that the Federal Government and the Police Did not APPEAL the judgement. They have 200% powers to arrest, investigate and Prosecute

3. Why is Ifeanyi Ubah opting for "A perpetual" injunction if he was innocent? Only criminals follow such route, and only corrupt Judge grants it. Eg Peter Odili

4. If the Government is sincere they would have appealed but NO, they rather "let it slide" afterall it is padi-padi

Even the 36 governors who signed on developed cold feet and their ambivalence allowed the subsidy to continue.

Under Obj (as per period under review) there was an increase in price of petrol by 7.8% (N65 to N70) and the subsidy payments leaped by 23% (which is strange).

Under Yar'adua, pump price droped by 7.8% (N70 to N65), which gives a valid explanation for increase in subsidy payments. Regardless, subsidy increased by 123% only.

Under Jonathan, the pump price increase by a whooping 49.23% (N65 to N97), yet subsidy payments increased by a gargantuan 420%!!!


How on earth can one explain such economics
