@blogerrina thank you so much for those words of faith. I know God is able. and Amen! I will do as advised as well and I pray everything goes as planned. I'm looking @ baptist medical centre east or Jackson hospital. my friend told me it 4500 for cs 3days, 2800 womanly 2days and doc 1200. All tests inclusive. waiting for more info from her while I do my research too. She just put to bed so I want to give her time before I start sending her on errands, lol.

Thanks so much dear. I got his details online and was abke to send them a mail. Does the fee include hospital fees and how many days hospital stay? Can the 6,500 further be negotiated grin? Pls how did you go about babys passport and visa in Chicago. Thanks dearie.

9jabiggurl:

if you are in Chicago....Just google Dr Ayoade Akere...had my 2 babies with him and costed me $6500 each time...and that covers ALL...obstetrician, paediatrician or aneasthesiologist. he will attend to you everyweek till you deliver, and baby will have access to pediatrician. Paid an extra $250 for circumcision less i forget....

If you need his info i can supply you with it or just google him....Fantastic Doctor I must say.....

(they have just 14months in between them, but i just generally claim 2 yrs btwn them as my 1st was 2012 Nov and 2nd was 2014 Jan)

my Advice, be prayerful, and be not afraid about Fibroid...i had multilple fibroids all through my preggy period but just about 2 weeks ago i went to the hosp and no record showed i had fibroids....just hang on to God. I had my 2 boys womanly(1st 8pounds/3.8kg, 2nd 9.4pounds/4.2kg) It could only have been God trust me.......You will deliver safely and carry your baby back from america in good health, even you will be in better health.....

gmn house, we got our visa in June. I was asked if I was pregnant and my ans was no cos I wasn't then. We travelled in July and returned in august (for 10days) I found out I was pregnant when we returned. I'm planning to use the visa to travel next yr to have our baby . my fear now is, I had eclampsia after the birth of my son and my doc in Nigeria is advising early cs so as to avoid recurrence which could mean I will be travelling late January or early February . which means my baby may come earlier from his opinion. will this make it look like I was lying at the interview?

Please is there any April mama heading toward alabama?

you are all wonderful ppl!

Hi dear, am a heading towards Alabama, I got my visa a few days before I found out I was pregnant I ll will be there in 2 weeks time for vacation and also to find a hospital, please do you have any hospital u intend to use, am also an April mama

@gbemileke.....u dont need to wait for the SSN before applying for the passport....I know it is somewhere on the form but leave it blank and just get your BC and head to the passport office with all the required docs...kapish....

gbemileke14:
@lizcom, thanks. I guess dat site is just for elpaso county. how about the SSN? have u gotten it and is it necessary for the passport application?

Yes it includes 2days hospital stay for womanly.....lol @ 6500 being negotiated....i dont think so...i am even hoping it hasnt gone up by now...maybe not cos i had my 2nd baby early this year.

Baby passport - had all my documents headed for the BC and headed to the passport office(you have to call and book ahead, so ensure the day you book for is after your BC is ready so you can do collection that same day and head to the PP office) they are very close to each other...walkable but then a train stop will take you there...but i had a cab guy very reasonable fair that took me around when my friend could not...because with a baby you might consider using a cab guy...and with that Chi town weather......cab is ur best bet....

First u have to get a Doctor that works with the hospital. U can check on their website. A few have been mentioned here earlier like Dr Huynh and Dr La but I think Huynh is the cheapest with a fee of 2000$ for normal or CS, 1200$ for anaesthesia, 300 - 500 $ for the surgical assistant, 236.25$ for 3 day stay, 92$ for newborn tests. You can send an email to Luisa.Arias@parallon.com at WHMC for details.

What is happening in the house? where are the phemas, twizzie, tvagas, and other popcorn and groundnut eaters on this board? have they gone to have their babies just like I did.

I thank God for the safe delivery of my baby boy on Tuesday, 4th. Although, didnt go as planned as I wanted a vaginal delivery but ended with an EMCS cos my boy was way too big (4kg) for my pelvic. All the same, I thank God it all went well. Mummy and baby boy are doing great.

Had my baby in New Jersey, same Dr Fares and Moutainside Hospital. I received the best care all through my stay at the hospital. All the staff that attended to me were all great. it was indeed a good one.

@princessmum hi there is an agent in Atlanta that can get your visa in the time frame you want, they even got one for a friend of mine and she got it back next day. I think you mail the passport and forms and a money order to them and they sort you out. This is actually my first post on nairaland I've been following for a while. Lots of good information on here but I am not sure what the policies are. Can I post the info here? Don't want to get banned lol I just joined
