I came across a picture on Facebook recently with a guy stating that he doesn't have any exes, once he breaks up then the chick is dead to him. This brought me to the realization that some people don’t ever and I mean ever want to consider remaining friends with their exes. This could be attributed to different reasons so in this article, I am going to explore five scenarios remaining friends with your ex will be foolhardy.

1.Annoying Exes: Nobody in their right sense seeking sanity and peace of mind wants to ever remain friends with an ex that was nothing but annoying through the course of a relationship. More especially so when the ex seems to be even more clingy after a break up, many people would rather flee than endure such annoying behavior.
When You Are Single and Searching: This period is not the most ideal of times in being friends with an ex. They only remind you of what it feels like to be in love and their presence can easily cloud your judgment in wanting to get back together. This may not necessarily be good for you in the long run.
2. When Your Ex Did the Dumping: Remaining friends with an ex is always hard when it is not a mutual breakup and more so if your ex did the dumping. Nobody likes to be walked out on and your motive for wanting to remain friends would be considered suspicious. In truth, you don’t just get over people that fast more so since they left when you were not ready.
