Two days ago, a Nairalander, Ceo4eva, created a thread on the 'live declaration of President Jonathan' and tried to figure out whether the President really deserves a second term in office.

As at the time of creating this post, 916 members clicked 'LIKE' on the post indicating that Jonathan does NOT DESERVE a second term (with 103 shares) while 509 members did same indicating he has performed creditably to DESERVE a second term (with 34 shares). In statistics, this is a ratio of 64:36.

I observed that many members who posted comments on that thread were happy with such development.
However, it should be noted that real Elections in Nigeria are not won via Nairaland Online Polls. Many observers would have noticed this in the past. Online Polls don't translate into Reality most times. The National Transformation Agenda of the President continues till 2019.

Most of the people who are rooting for Jonathan's another tenure to remain in Power are:

1. Hoping that the stealing and looting will rob-off on them.
2. That one they they too will exploit the corruption that is reigning now to also "hammer".
3. Some their psyche have been destroyed with propaganda of hate and defamation.
4. PDP over the year have forced Nigerians to believe that an incumbent will always win.
5. Another reason is that PDP usually rig the election and tell you to go to court. So many don't even see why to vote.

There are many reasons people are supporting Jonathan. But the fact remain that Jonathan has failed. Even some will tell you that since he failed, he should be allowed to repeat.
