I think when mukina.2 was updating the frontpage, the frontpage was really doing great but all she does now is update EPL matches threads on the frontpage. That's not enough. All I see on the frontpage this days is complete thrash

Mine is a hit and miss situation. I guess they're either lazy or overwhelmed with work. Besides they're unpaid so the job lacks encouragement.

Super mods please help. I just got banned by the anti spam bot on a thread I created. What I did is reply a question that was asked.
Is there a limit to the number of times a word can be used.

First of all you should have a nairaland account that is only known to you .you are not a nairalander...you are seun,any topic you make can instantly make fp or anything. you should know how it feels to be a nairalander.
And you should appoint people to be supermods based on their topics,posts and time active..instead of asking people to apply which anyone can just impersonate another person or post false information...you should find individuals who are dedicated to nairaland....i would have been a good choice but I am usually busy.
And I don't know why the moderators never reply or do anything when a post is reported. And the spambot is just doing more bad than good

There should be atleast four super-mods to be updating the FP of nairaland. They should be in charge of the following Boards: 1.Entertainment
2.General
3.Sci & Tech.

Three super mods will be responsible for the above three boards. A super-mod should be appointed to a Board. They should take interesting topics from their boards to the FP. if members have issues to sort out on any of the 3 boards, then the Super Mod incharge of that board should be contacted.

Finally, there should be a fourth Super Mod. He/she should be able to oversee the 3 boards, should be able to move (Great) Topics to the frontage from any of the board.

They musnt be Paid Super-Mods. We've got loads of dedicated people on NL that can do the job exceptionally.

joined nl recently after being a guest for a long long time, since den,I am addicted to nl..infact am head over heel with it,about the spamming stuff,I see them too,dey are much coz what makes nl fun for me is not d topics but d comments so I go through at least 80% of d comments and laugh myself out,I love nl..don't mind being a mod for free sef.. #TEAM-NL

Professionalism is needed on this forum. In all honesty,the moderators are a joke. Pay all the modetrators plus super moderators a fee and see coomplete improvement of the forum.
Get rid of the scammers paradiing the auto and business section by banning them and see renewed belief in your forum. Lots of the adverts are being posted by scammers and a lot of innocent people are falling victim and losing faith. Get rid of the scammers and professionalise moderation and. half the job is done. But then what do I know?
