Please i need your advise on which of the two car to go for
Nissan Primera 1999 model(auto, Four plugs, Leather seat, AC and alloy)
Toyota Camry Orobo 1996 model (auto, Four plugs, fabric interior, AC and alloy)
Please i need there details in terms of -
fuel consumption
Durability
AC
Maintenance.

Toyota Camry supercedes Nissan Primera in every ramification, and it's four plugs. It's the number one car brand in Nigeria.

Primera is no match to orobo. Once d engine size is d same fuel consumption ll b almost same. Orobo is more rugged n ll withstand tear n wear on our road beta. Parts r there n an average mech can handle it. D only place primera can challenge orobo is fuel consumption esp 1.6 l primera. Once its 2.0l it won't beat orobo in fuel economy other things workin at factory setting

Op, this 99 Primera you are talking of, is it the face-lift version (P11-144), or the pre-facelift (P11)?
Are they toks or naija used?
That will determine my choice. But know this, if it is the face lift version, toks, I'll consider it better than even the 99 camry, talk less of a 96 model (at least, the 4 cylinder versions). That's my own personal opinion.

I use d facelift version of d niss prim(p11-144), plz forget d whole toyota is king mentality we nigerians have, I have been using dis vehicle for a year and a half now and d engine has not for once cough not to talk of giving probs, and wit as little as 5liters of petrol, it takes me thruout d day, d AC is also very on point, but note when purchasing d face lift, look out for converted, cos dis car most times comes wit righty

I had once owned and driven the Toyota (orobo).
One thing I can say is that the car gave me no problem at alllll. Sometimes I wonder if it consumes fuel at all. The AC was so so chill and circulatrs within few seconds. Trust me, orobo's AC beats 2012 honda accord's by faar.

I know nothing about Nissan Primera.

Orobo na the car now. Good for travel and beats the Primera in performance and reliability

@OP, avoid auto tranny in the primaera ooooo. It comes with the CVT and its many issues.

The CVT in the prim doesn't throw so much issues, just use the right oil to service it. I know someone that has been using one of those for like 4 years, no major repairs yet.

@topic, buying a nigerian used car may be a bit tricky. It depends on how well maintained the car is. So I'll suggest you don't look at the brand, but the maintainance, if it's available.
