Doubt he can get the components for such system. The system is kindof scarce and rare.

After formatting and changing my windows, my toshiba laptop stopped playing audio... It pops up with 'no audi device found'.. I have tried going through d device manager menu to update it and also tried different solutions online but all to no avail. I'll be very greatful if I can get a solution here... Thank#

Hello jide and co, pls I need help, I use dell vostro 1540 4GB 500GB 2.4GHz, I've some programs like oracle, SAGE and coreldraw installed on it (they the major programs I've on it). Lately I noticed it started to be very slow when working on it and even when booting. Some days ago after startup I saw a horizontal line across the screen and sometimes the screen goes blank and take some minutes to restore. Pls what could be happening to it? A friend told me it's the processor that's going bad, is that true?
Pls help. I'll appreciate any assistance rendered. Thanks

Could you refer to Lordreed's post. Moving on, please click start, computer,

c drive or it may say vista Os, toshiba, drivers and locate the sound drivers.
All toshiba laptop have their drivers in the c drive.

Alternative use https://support2.microsoft.com/mats/audioplayback/

to fix it. you could use Google to find out how to system restore your computer to
a time it was working.

the problem is not ur processor.
1, about d line and screen not displaying , it ur flex dat is bad or probably d screen misbehaving, but am sure it d flex.
2, if ur flex as melt somewhere it can slow d system down.
3. Ur system been slow maybe due to operating system problem or 2 above.

I have done system restore but to no avail. I actually changed fro XP SP3 to windows 7 ultimate

I have also tried the link posted above.. It still popped up with the no audio device and directed me to microsoft support..

Visit Toshiba website and search for sound drivers for your operating system type, i.e windows 7. If windows 7 driver is not available, then you cannot use windows 7. You'd need to go back to windows XP. If the manufacture don't have windows 7 drivers, don't waste your precious time trying to force it. The manufactures knows best.
