johnkent: Base? Liar..beware of people like this on Nairaland. Most Doctors don't even make that much before taxes. If a nurse made that much, most doctors and engineers would be Nurses by now or go on strike. The average salary for an anesthetist, a certified experienced one not a chief anesthetist Nurse, is under $150,000. My wife is one...certified anesthetist with over 10 yrs experience; so I know and she knows what her colleagues take home pay is! 6 Likes |

/ No man wakes up in the morning and decides to be a nurse. Condition na im make crayfish bend. Most went into nursing for the money. But most of the male nurses are gay or closet gay. Nursing is the profession that will help them stay in touch with their inner femininity. I bet they get off inserting urinary catheter into a male patient. I'm a male nurse, I enjoyed the profession during my days in school, I never for once used my hand to cook its always cooler ministry *winks*, now running my BNSC and hey, people should stop thinking its because of poverty or inability to gain admission dat made some guyz to turn into nursing at least in my sch, nursing students pay 1m which is enough to run medicine in some universities in Nigeria( 100-600l)..back to the question, I hate anything gynae........ First of all I want tothank God for seeing this Post that relates to my Pofession,and also pray for Exam success! Male Nurses Face many Challenges in the hospital while attending to Female patients,they usually see you as DELvING into their Privacy but always feeL satisfied at the End if you actually know your Nursing practice that at. The end of the Day they would prefer you to your Female Counterparts Am proud to be a male Nurse because I do tedious jobs That my Female Counterparts can't do Very well eg Providin sound immediate first aid to accident victims while ladies are still pantin at the Horror sight and doing wound dressing that last for long duration especially patients with Bed ulcer!....God bless male Nurses around the Globe and Bless our Legit Hustle----Nurse JP. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Well, am not a nurse but i know lots of male nurses in Nigeria. Many of them are addressed as "doctor' and they love it like that. Deep down, i know they have this '......' complex .
