Coalition of Imo youths resident in Lagos State has applauded the choice of Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho as the consensus candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the 2015 governorship election in the state.

Announcing its support for the choice after a general meeting in Lagos, the group frowned at the decay of infrastructure in the state and posited that it was only a person of wisdom, experience and charisma like Iheanacho that could save Imo from under-development and decay.

Coordinator of the group, Mr. Chima Ukwandu, described the action as a good omen and a step forward in the efforts to give the people of Imo the deserved governance that would attract industries, create more jobs and make the state more conducive for business and peaceful-co-existence.

Ukwandu thanked God for answering the prayers of Imo people on the vision of APGA leadership in the state by bringing out a more experienced, selfless and visionary personality to lead the state.

Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho, the former
Nigerian Minister of Interior, who studied at the
University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom where
he obtained a Master of Science degree in
International Transport, and also earned a Master of
Business Administration (MBA) degree in General
Management from the University of Bradford.

Among all the governorship aspirants in Imo State, he seems to be the best , more focused and a pure technocrat

grassroots will decide if he is good enough to be governor.

There are sixteen aspirants in PDP vying for one position. After the primaries,more candidates will join APGA. Iheanacho should not jubilate yet.

He was the man that Ohakim compelled President Jonathan to suspend from being Interior Minister for anti party activities and supporting Rochas Okorocha in 2011.

The goodnews is that he was recalled and reinstated after Rochas had defeated Ohakim at the polls.

I believe Gov. Rochas Okorocha owes him his support if he is not going to contest for re-election.

The structure in APGA in Imo state is for Iheanacho and there will be no room for decampees to hijack the existing party structure that has already taken the party to greater levels for iheanacho. Martin Agbaso could not intimidate iheanacho talk less of any body from PDP. Moreover, Orlu zone is out of the race!

Rochas has done extremely well in education and he should be highly commended. My worries are just his projects which are still going and might be abandoned if eventually he decides not to contest for governor.

rochas is not gunning for governorship again..he has already declared for presidency...him declaring for governoship after declaring for presidency would be a dent on his integrity.
