Tambuwal is simply reaping what he sowed. This is just the beggining. He aint seen nothing yet. Since he has decided not to apply common sense, he will have to contend with the problems he created for himself.

Please what is your definition of common sense in this instance?

Nawa for una o!

Which issue of more pressing priority to the President at this time?

Approval of the extension of SoE or the impeachment of the Speaker?

How many more days do we have before December 3 when the House will reconvene fully?

Are you guys telling me the President is not smart enough to get the much needed SoE extension he desperately needs at the moment and then wait till December 3 to effect the removal of the Speaker if he indeed has such plans?

Are you guys kidding me?

Are you all aware the SoE is coming to an end today?

Do you know what that means?

He'll not only finish but go ahead to win the upcoming election

This is a right move.

Is he still the speaker of the House? NO

He got Speaker's post because PDP was and is still the majority in the House. Now that he has pitched his tent with APC which has minority in the House, the right thing to do is to relinquish his position immediately he decamped.

I don't know why some people want to create unnecessary attention.

You can't eat your 'gworo kola' and have it back!

Your post deserves 1000 likes.... The so called leaders of the the law house are the same very ones violating the laws.... Decamping will always remain his worst nightmare...

Tambuwal is a nothing but a big madman without morality. He still wants to be a speaker after he defected to the opposition party. There is no where in the whole world where this kind of thing is allowed, and some people are here supporting him.
Armed men are not the one to impeach him but two-third of the house. so tell ur paymaster to calm down and let those who voted him as the speaker impeach him. did u know the damage this act cause our reputation?

NL and abusive people... Na wa o.

Anyway, read up the constitution of Nigeria yourself. Its clearly stated there. Constitutionally, Tambuwal is NO longer a member of the House of reps! How can you lead an organization of which you are not a part of?

Its very clear and simple. The only leg he can stand on is by asking the court to interprete that part of the Constitution.
The constitution you are quoting is the pigdogpigs (pdp) constitution not of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Keep blowing your lies out of proportion.

Exactly! So why is Tambuwal's case causing so much heat?
What he did is wrong, and not ideal...but it's hilarious seeing people pretend like this hasn't been going on in Nigeria for ages. If we are truly to ban cross-carpeting, then we'll need to sack a whole lot of senators, reps, governors and state house of assembly members.

Just imagine pictures being reported around the world now of Nigeria's National Assembly being overrun by the military.

Again this just feeds into the widely - held perception of Nigeria as a basket case.

Foreign investors who are already pulling their money out of the stock market due to the sliding value of the Naira, now have another reason - political instability - to accelerate their withdrawal.

I can't see how today's event will not weaken the Naira even further.

My question to the President is, why go this far to humiliate our country?

You forgot the insurgency in the north. Jonathan is going to run the country aground. Its just a matter of time.

That Statement (which you have horribly mangled) was made when the fellow was in PDP. There's no need to lie so shamelessly.

Truth is Tambuwal cant have his cake and eat it. Since he decamped to the minority party in the house, he can on longer lead for the majority that carries the house. A leader without followers is simply going for a walk. No sentiments here

Fine, but let the majority of the house make that decision then, why make it on their behalf? shoooo

We'll see if he owns Nigeria.
Or it belongs to everyone.
