1) a group of cabals did something similar to him during 'Yar'adua's government, God in his wisdom elevated GEJ to the position he is today

2) GEJ unceremoniously dismissed SLS as governor of CBN, God in his wisdom made SLS emir of Kano and GEJ responded by deploying security personnel to stop SLS from entering the palace
