I thank you for your time in giving us these info, but i believe you left out alot. Of info. Take for example spacing between suckers during planting.

Number of acres planted will depend on the cost of transportation,spacing can be 2.5m*2.5m or 3m*3m.
Location is ogbomoso,oyo state.
Security are stationed on the farm to prevent theft.
With the right spacing, proper application of organic fertilizer,proper management, plantain will withstand any wind.

I prefer organic fertiliser to inorganic.They enable faster growth,good yield and plant can withstand wind and diseases.

Is it once in a year that one will be harvesting? According to what I envisage, and also which a farmer told me, after the first harvest one will be harvesting plantain every four months because as the main one grows young suckers will be growing as well with maturity/fruiting period of approximately 4 months interval.

The first harvest is 9-12months ( depending
on good managerial practices)
With good management, you can have 2
harvest but not necessarily within a year.
Note that if you plant a sucker now,it will take
about numerous months before another
sucker will shoot out from the one planted
