you can nail irib with that range but u need advance decoder and a bigger dish to lock 21b especially the mbc transponder also u need 5m dish to enjoy bein in ijoko. Regards

tnks 4 d response,but I once heard dat d mbcs channel on eutelsat21b and d irib package is trackable 2geda on a single 2.4m-3m dish on wide beam,using d single c/ku band lnb..dis is wat I want to confirm weda 2 go 4 d single dish to nail d 2 bird or buy 2 different dish 4 2 satelite,pls advice me on how 2 go abt dis my ogas

@agkilis. It is all the same irrespective of whether C or Ku band.Or you may wish to relocate to Asia.

@Dtoby1.Yes that is a possibility.But a motorized setup is simply the best.
Ku band lnb = Primary
C band lnb = Offset

its just that d offerings on d two aren't d same. my kids ar already used to jimjam. they always lookout 4 d jimjam logo & they keep monopolising d MyTV in d hse but I just got them their TV set

yes u can nail the 2 sat on a single dish.

@blexxomak, u dont need to conclude yet assiast 5c, cos i understand that dish will be facing downward because it is off horizon, but we can use inverted dish to track, so that signal that will be falling will be a reverse, up becomes down and down becomes up, i will post the picture of inverted dish soon, have ever installed mytv using inverted method, then u will see that the dish will be facing up instead of down

@graghicicon.Elevation is the angular distance of the satellite above the horizon in relation to your dish.

@graphicicon.At d horizon (where d sky meets d land),elevation = 0.Now where would d beam come frm if elevation is -ve?
