Do our media houses have to resort to cutting corners when reporting news in other to be relevant? Some journalists will sit at home and be reporting issues which they won't even verify before publishing....speculative journalism is the order of the day in Nigeria this days...many of the children in orphanage homes would have been adopted but thanks to all this busy bodies.

Linda Ikeji you have finally lost my respect. How dare you place pictures of someone else's young children on your blog? Even abroad they'd never try that. At least they'd blur out the faces of the kids to protect the kids' identities. This deserves a law suit. I don't mind representing Femi Kuti for free so he can get a hefty settlement. And I'm not even a Femi Kuti fan. Jeez what lack of professionalism on Linda's part tttttffiiiiaaa!!!

No news is old or stale. As a matter of fact news like this get to be recycled to educate the populace of the need to uphold moral virtues in marriages or face the attendant repercussions which Femi exemplified.

Journalists dig up pictures to give their stories a representation so I don't see where she goofed except the attendant critics it is generating

That is what I'm saying, people copy and paste news from blog sites onto NL just to see their posts gather traffic or get on to FP becos they've used NL as back links to their sites.

We will weed all those out soon. I will make sure before any news hit FP it's well investigated right from when it's on New Topics else it will still mislead people.

First she is in business before entertainment. It doesn't matter how old the news is, if it is captivating… then it's news worthy. Then again, who solicit the verification or approval of a worthy news before going to press? One can do an investigative journalism but wouldn't seek approval from a 'news maker' to go to press because it may never be granted.
