Ma, he wants me to visit now, does he av to write the embassy of our reunion in an invitation letter and thus a visiting visa since my job now won't give me chance to go and stay with him for now( if we av to reopen the k1 visa)
Second question is since he's footing the travel expenses, can I still use his statement of account that has been with me since June 2014 or he needs to get a recent one for me.

My kids are American citizen, Myself and Husband want to renew our visas, in filling the form DS 160 do I need to indicate I am travelling with my kids?(though we may not). Just don't want to give the VO any reason to think we don't want to declare our kids or we do have something to hide, because I had them in the space of 2 years with my 2years B1/B2 visa.

We should qualify for a dropbox but i suspect they will call us in for interview because of my kids so we can show all our receipt of payment for child birth and didn't apply for medicaid.

Is there a record that will throw out my kids name under our names? if Yes, then I think its better we indicate in our forms that we are travelling with them (though we MAY or MAY NOT), so its clear that we have nothing to hide as we paid all fees during child birth.......

Over the past year, I've been on about 5 business trips to the UK mainly and other European countries as well. It has become necessary to visit the United States for the purpose of business meetings in February. Now my growing concern as I read through this extensive thread and others on this site is the fact that the embassy seems to places a lot of stock on your marital status as this establishes adequately, your tie to your home country. Can my extensive travel history make up for the fact that I'm unmarried or this would still raise eyebrows and dent my chances of a successful application. Thanks in advance.

Hello VO, kudos for the good job ur doing.pls I av an urgent question which is bothering me.I got b1b2 visa few months ago and I told d VO I was going to av my baby in the usa.My hubby's office health insurance covers my maternity in d usa.Hubby wrote to the insurance company whose office in usa to ask for the procedure and they replied that his insurance covers my all my maternity bill in the usa but they asked we send them the name of the hospital so they can pay directly to them and then give us a settlement note.My fear is will it affect my subsequent renewals? Is a non citizen/perm resident allowed to use her health insurance for medicals in the state? Kindly advice as am so scared and wouldn't want to have problem in my subsequent renewals.Thanks

I was on F-1 visa here in the US.My present company then filed for my H1B and I've already applied for stamping at a US Consulate. I wanted to know if mistakes in 'Point of Contact' and 'Do you have any travel plans' section of DS-160 could delay stamping after the interview.

Hello VO,my kudos to your great work,pls my question is that,I applied for US bussiness and tourist visa last month and I went for my interview,I don't know why I was refuse cause the VO just asked a few question and didn't even request for my document,but know I wanna reapply,pls I have every valued document I have my leave letter from my company and I work with a consultant under NDDC,tho I have a very small stature maybe that might be part of my refusal and I have may pay slip with my statement of an account of 3m as at last month as well with my employment letter and my I'd card,pls my VO will this be enough for my interview and what else can I do for me not to be refuse again,I have to shift my leave till january so I can reapply..pls advice..Thanks

Good day VO.Pls my frnd used a fake bank statement for interview 2day,thd vo took d bank statement inside to verify I think.He was given white paper dat he is not up to requirements.Pls I want to ask if dey ban him will they let him no so dat he won't jst be wasting money.Thanks

I applied for a b1/b2 visa in March 2013 when I was 2 months pregnant and single but was not asked if i was pregnant. I did not have the intention to deliver in the US as at the time of application. I was given a 1 year b1/b2 visa.

I travelled to the US with my whole family (mother and 2 brothers) August 2013. All questions were directed to my brother and he said we came for family vacation/tourism. I was heavily pregnant but was not asked any question as my brother answered for the whole family. I had my son and paid all my hospital bills in 2013.

I got married to the father of my baby March 2014 and applied for a new visa August 2014 with my husband and included that our son would be travelling with us and was denied according to section 214b.
The interview was as follows:
The VO asked why our son was not applying for visa and I explained that he was a US citizen and dint need a visa. He requested to see my hospital receipts which i gave him.
He asked where I and my husband work, we both work in the same company
Asked when we got married, answered March this year
Reason of travelling: Visit this year and child delivery next year (trying to be very truthful)
We were denied and given a blue papar referring us to section 214b

I reapplied alone for a B2 visa and was interviewed yesterday (Dec 1). The interview as as follow:
Reason of travel: Child birth
Name of your doctor and correspondence: Gave her letter of responsibility, doctor's appointment, estimated cost
How much do you earn monthly; I said about 450k but it varies from 330 to 450 depending on allowances and subsidies and I filled 330 on my form
Requested for my account statement: I reminded her that my husband was paying for the trip and gave her my statement and his as well
I offered to give her letter of sponsorship from my husband but she declined
I gave her my budget sheet which was about 2.7 million naira
She complained that my estimated cost was low and she understands that delivery bills are above $10,000 and mine was about $5,000. I explained that i had been given a 40% discount for paying cash upfront and that was the same amount i paid for my first son's delivery
I also offered to show her estimated cost from other hospitals in the same state which she declined.
I noticed that she did not ask any question about my husband
She also asked the reason I gave for travelling in August and I said "visit this year and child delivery next year"; but she said she can only see visit on the system.
I was denied again according to the same section 214B

It will be good to have an idea of what i can do better to be eligible next time. I understand that my first visa covers medical as well. Am just wondering if i have been denied because i never informed the embassy when i changed plans and decided to delliver in the US instead of visiting.

Please assist.

Hello everyone, I am currently on f2 visa in US and got admission for spring so I need to change to f1 to be able to enrol for classes. I applied online for the change of visa status but the wait time till approval is like 2.5 month which will put me at the middle of february and classes starts January 12. I am thinking, should I travel back to Nigeria to change my visa status to f1? what are my chances of approval if I come to Nigeria for the visa interview since I already applied via the online elis uscis? should I just wait in the state for the visa approval since some people get their f1 approval even before its 2.5 month? PLS I NEED YOUR ADVICE

please i have a confusing situation at hand and would appreciate your suggestions on how to go about this.
i am currently seperated from my husband for about a year.not legally seperated or divorced yet,still in the process of doing so.and am currently trying to renew my visa through the us dropbox renewal system.here are my concerns

1)what should be my response to marital status?,address,and so on.pls take note my passport has always been in my maiden name

2)in a nutshell,can i fill in different/update information to the questions being asked on the application form as 1) my husband has already renwed his own visa through the dropbox months earlier and i dont know if he changed/updated any information on his application form.(note also, we used to apply together as a family with the children before we seperated)
i have been granted two years us visas twice in the past 5 years and also uk visas in the past 5years and travelled .so now that i want to renew through dropbox,dont know what information to provide so as not to contradict information i have in my records in the past.
