I hope this has nothing to with Moyes.

Speaking of Moyes the disappearing crew of tools are on another thread debating 4 wins on the bounce as "luck".
Apparently we overestimate people's intelligence in here.

don't mind the laboratory retärds. 41 injuries, rookies in the defence & half of the first team starters are unavailable yet we are comfortably sitting in the top four - yet some people dare compare LVG to moyes? cheesy grin

Abeg I need names.

We are dealing with specifics here.

We need to know those who are forming Isaac Newton.

They have no sense.

I thought they would say we are only 4th after spending 156 million in the summer.
Since it is 156 million and Falcao that is the only issue they got.

No injuries,
No difference in playing style/pattern.
No improved results.

Like I said, people just love the sight of their typing in here.

One of those Poly boys was saying that because van Gaal sits down through matches, he is not better than Moyes.

And i'm supposed to believe people are intelligent with that kind of nonsense.

smalling has always been our best central defenfer. the only problem he's got is that he's poor in possession & his distribution is horrible - he seems to have improved on those departments in the last few games. i hope he can form a partnership with rojo while we dump jones & evans in january - those 2 are the biggest wimps in the history of football. rojo got badly injured against city & he's already playing.....jones & evans have refused to come back until easter next year.

shame!
I want to believe Jones has been the fitter of the two. Although I don't have the stat.

Jones has shin splints, and according to Gaal, it's an unpredictable illness.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:29pm On Dec 03, 2014
You guys are taking this Moyes (vs Gaal) too far. What I remember people complained about is the double standard it terms of criticism. Particularly as Gaal spent over £150m and was still struggling without UCL and Capital1 cup.

The argument wasn't abut who was better. Gaal's game is far better even though one can still argue he had more quality to fall back on during injuries.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:31pm On Dec 03, 2014
Surely, Gaal knows how to get the best out of players.

what yeye double standard?
Even when the results weren't coming, it was obvious that we had direction and it would only be a matter of time before results started to come. Only an idíot would have failed to see it.
Same could not be said for moyes.

Moyes messed up the transfer window himself.
His first on a long list of fatal mistakes.
Nobody prevented him from spending!

He ended up overpaying for a fellaini whom he still grossly misused as with virtually every other person in the team.

E no get as you wan bend am go, those comparisons were uncalled for.

not true elampiro.
It is not too far.
We don't need to sound repetitive here.
Moyes failed. Simple.

You also failed to not e that we are not in the Champions League largely because of Moyes.
The Capital 1 Cup was a one-off.

Can you tell me now that at his time last year, you were this confident of your side,?
When West Brom and co were taking points at OT last year, compare that to to this season so far.

For me, Moyes was not up for the United job.

I've said time and again that I cant argue with three points.
That said, Im still of the opinion that Manyoo is riding their luck, and I suspect that a Newcastle-esque abrupt end to your run is impending.

Fans reaction during and after the Crystal Palace game:

i dey go play call of duty...
this is horrible to watch - they better score by the time i get back
.
Leyqute:
Bros, most people are just happy with the 3 points...no one is even unsatisfied with the poor performance. 3 points against teams like Everton or Tottenham with a poor display might be acceptable. NOT WITH CRYSTAL PALACE. Too much passes in the midfield with less chances created. Rooney was a CM today
Fans reaction after the Arsenal game:
SailorXY:
you can say this because we won somehow. assume arsenal had a Ronaldo or a Suarez in attack, we would have been smashed 5-0 before half time undecided

no news on Shaw

Fans reaction after the Stoke game

SailorXY:
the lads played well, I can't fault the performance except the clinical part (unfortunately that's the essence of the whole sport huh? grin ).

no di Maria, no Rooney, no Blind, no Rafael, no Shaw = no problems

Yeah, it's a one off and the great sir Alex suffered similar results. The morale of the squad was low and stuffs but Abeg, for a club like man utd, losing 4-0 to a div3 side is totally unacceptable. The fact that we had at least 5 full-fledge internationals on show that night, makes it worse.

To be honest, me thinks our injury concerns were kinda overplayed at times to the extent that our inability to name the same back four for two consecutive games was seen as the reason behind di Maria constantly wasting set pieces, RVP's uninspiring form upfront and so on.

Don't get me wrong oo.. LVG is a fantastic coach and his Resumè speaks for him but that doesn't mean some of his methods can't be questioned, especially when moyes' training methods were blamed for some of our injury concerns last season (when we were still in three competitions this time last season ). cheesy grin

so you are implying that Chelshit has been playing swashbuckling soccer from the first game up till this point? how did you secure victory against Liverpool? how did you grab a point @ the Etihad. I usually don't care about games without my team but I have seen a few other games this year & I can assure you there's luck in sports.

Liverpool needed it over the past weekend, even the one point you rescued could have been zero. man city's 3-0 doesn't entirely suggest how proceedings went.

infact, Chelshit has had more luck this season with officials & injuries. pound for pound you don't have the best squad in the league, so let's see far you ride before fatigue & injuries catch up.

I an also predicting an Arsenal-esque capitulation for Chelshit by January cheesy

before you started crucifying him, you coulda thought that there was a possibility that he would start getting results.
Like PietroRico said, even when the results were not forthcoming you could see there was a massive improvement from what Moyes brought.
So it makes you look awkward to say the least when you say you cant argue against the same person who is proving you wrong thus far.

nihilist is trying to wiggle free from the hook he has buried in his own tummy. yes, even when the results were bad, we saw quality football from united. in that leicester game, we were gold until the penalty incident.

against city, the 10 players fought like 15 players at the death. we didn't see anything like that under moyes. we didn't even score a goal that gave us a point or 3 points in the last 10 minutes of any league game under moyes.

yet, we were being reminded constantly by nihilist how moyes was better than van gaal. they kept referring to the £150m we spent without referring to the 11 squad players that left the club.....like the media sheep that they are.

even the £150m spent hasn't been fully utilised. when was the last time we have had shaw, herrera, blind, rojo, di maria & falcao all fit for a match? so why would anyone refer to the money spent to grade performance?

Good point on the signings.
Not to add the juveniles and makeshift pairings we've had at the back.
I fail to see how Moyes is anywhere near van Gaal's orbit in any shape or form.

Despite the likes of Rvp, Rooney, mata and Herrera at the disposal of the manager, Our play lacked rythmn and cohesion against teams like burnley, crystal place and Swansea(both at oldtrafford) but Ofcourse, the injuries to Evans, jones, Smalling etc was pinpointed as the root cause.

The reluctance to criticize LVG for some of our lethargic displays that can't be blamed on injuries, is the koko here.

Even the pro-Moyes brigade from United supporters have deliberate ly ignored that part. Tyler blackett, Paddy McNair and Chris Smalling all held their own bs Arsenal after a shaky start. The oldest of the trio is Smalling.
Last year we had Rio, Evra, Vidic all part of a UCL back four at the side fresh from a title win the season before yet we hardly kept any clean sheet.

It beats me when United fans try to querry LvGs methods and ignore all the variables and shyte that he has gone through. Comparing him and Moyes is the closest thing to blasphemy in the light of what we see.

Im going to put it this way:
Compare United this and last year and tell me which you prefer.

I have criticized LvG for choosing Rooney as captain and backing him for the same offence he did not spare Smalling in public.
But you cannot discount the near devastating effects the chronic injury crisis being borne at the moment.
You and I know that for starters they disrupt any kind of momentum gained. All the players you've listed have hardly been together for any tangible period to make any meaningful effect.
