coogar:So Gaal no longer have more injuries compared to Moyes? I thought the initial defence of Gaal was that he had more injuries than Moyes. When did I say Moyes had 18 injuries at Man United? I said he had 18 injuries per 14 matches at Everton before joining Man United. Therefore the injury this season can never be blamed on Moyes. This has been my stand. We all know the history of injuries in Manchester United. If Moyes was blamed for injuries under his reign, Gaal should be blamed for injuries under his reign. SAF for his own under his reign. Period! Lastly, have you noticed some of the players who trained under Moyes who left for other clubs have stayed fit? Welbeck injured under Gaal but has stayed fit since joining Arsenal. Cleverley has been fit Nani has been fit. Chicharito has been fit. Vidic has been fit Evra has been fit Ferdinand has been fit Kagawa has been fit. Butnner has been fit. Fabio has been fit. All these players trained under Moyes. Only the ones who remained have been injured. I don't know any player who has not been injured under Gaal, but all the players who left have managed to stay fit to the best of my knowledge. |

coogar:I think Valencia will drop to the bench. he's done commendably but Rafael is also fit again, so it will just be a matter of time. Rojo as well may be pulled wide for Jones & Smalling depending on Shaw's availability. I fully expect LvG to give Jones some prefentials when fully fit because he was our best CB before he injured himself. this is not hating on any player (as @chrisley024 may put it when I suggested Carrick makes way when Blind returns) but just playing the very best in every position to ensure maximum output.it is also great that replacements do just as well or even better when called upon, this keep every man chosen on his toes. |

elampiro:you are talking nonsense..... the 41-injury statistics of van gaal dated back to the day he was appointed. as at then, van gaal was with the dutch team & prepping them for brazil. how in the name of zeus can he be held responsible for the injuries when he hadn't even met united players? When did I say Moyes had 18 injuries at Man United? I said he had 18 injuries per 14 matches at Everton before joining Man United. Therefore the injury this season can never be blamed on Moyes. This has been my stand.your stand makes no sense. united players ain't everton players. why not compare van gaal's injury stats for the oranje team to moyes' everton? We all know the history of injuries in Manchester United. If Moyes was blamed for injuries under his reign, Gaal should be blamed for injuries under his reign. SAF for his own under his reign. Period!you are starting to misyarn again? who sacked the medical team that was managing our injuries to the barest minimum? was it SAF or van gaal? Lastly, have you noticed some of the players who trained under Moyes who left for other clubs have stayed fit?that is irrelevant..... the clubs they joined do not play with the same intensity as man utd. Welbeck injured under Gaal but has stayed fit since joining Arsenal.all these players have been injured at one point or the other since they left united. stop lying to make points. All these players trained under Moyes. Only the ones who remained have been injured. I don't know any player who has not been injured under Gaal, but all the players who left have managed to stay fit to the best of my knowledge.similarly, there's no player of ours last season that didn't spend at least one week on the sick bench when moyes was here. it was moyes who sacked the medical team SAF described as the best in the world with a wealth of experience. if you still cannot see that moyes should be held responsible for the injury curse then buy IQ booster pills cos it means you are not smarter than a nanny-goat! elampiro:your lack of comprehension skills is the reason you are seeing contradiction. moyes' first 3 months is may-july. he had not racked up a high number of injuries as at july cos the season hadn't started in july. van gaal's first 3 months is july to october. even though gaal was appointed in may, he did not oversee any team training until united went to the preseason. i wonder how you manage to complete your day-to-day task with this your low level IQ. can you not read english very well or you are just pretending to be stüpid so we can keep going round in circles? |

coogar:You told us Gaal had more injuries. You arent steady at all. United player arent Everton players? That's a merit to Moyes. Meaning United players aren't as fit as the players Moyes brought up. Foget about that medical team buahaha. Dont delve into what you don'y know. Give us link that Moyes closed the clinic opened by SAF, and he cancelled the contract entered with the sponsors. Was it United backroom staff that kept his Everton players fit? coogar:Here you go again with your contradiction. any way, Man United players have always been prone to injury. But it is worrying now that they are missing many matches due to injuries. |

elampiro:van gaal had more injuries in his first 3 months than moyes did. if the stats extend to first week of december from the date they were both appointed then moyes had more. read with your common sense, next time. United player arent Everton players? That's a merit to Moyes. Meaning United players aren't as fit as the players Moyes brought up.how many games do everton play in a season? how many games is a must-win for everton under moyes? no wonder the failure couldn't win a single game in the grounds of the traditional top 4 sides for 12 seasons. while united are expected to go blood & thunder and secure wins in every game, moyes takes it easy & only worries about his home form. how then can you compare match intensity of a failure to the intensity faced by perpetual champions? you should buy that IQ booster pill ASAP! Foget about that medical team buahaha. Dont delve into what you don'y know. Give us link that Moyes closed the clinic opened by SAF, and he cancelled the contract entered with the sponsors. Was it United backroom staff that kept his Everton players fit?another heap of rubbish! moyes was copping 53 injuries per year @ everton. i posted the stats last night - moyes works his players to exhaustion & injuries. his ex-players at everton said that last season that moyes' training methods are pre-historic Here you go again with your contradiction.that changed after united refurbished their medical centre. we had a near-perfect bill of health in 2012/13. we became champions, SAF left. moyes came on board, sacked everyone & replaced with his crew of failure from everton & our injury crisis resurfaced! |

coogar:Ayagayagayagayo hei, ayagayagayagayo. ![]() Height of confusion. We are talking about Gaal's 41 injuries you quoted in your posts. coogar:This is another contradiction. Indirectly you are telling us that Moyes and Gaal knew they needed they stretch their players more to be able to win more games. Hence the injuries? You are not helping your case at all. As this time last season, Moyes was in all 3 competition having already won the Shield. Gaal is playing only one competition. coogar:Can we see Moyes injuries number visavis other EPL teams over several season? Then we can take you serious. Danhumprey:we should beat southampton! falcao, rooney, RVP are fit. di maria would miss the game but we have enough quality in the squad to rely on angel. elampiro:which gaal's 41 injuries? are you retardëd? the 41 injuries was calculated from the day he was appointed not since he officially met united players in july. surely, that little clause is too much for your mental comprehension. This is another contradiction. Indirectly you are telling us that Moyes and Gaal knew they needed they stretch their players more to be able to win more games. Hence the injuries?you can never draw a logical inference from my sentence cos you are not even intelligent to understand them in the first place. for you to make a sensible opinion out of my comments, you need to understand them first & you have never shown that ability since you joined NL. As this time last season, Moyes was in all 3 competition having already won the Shield. Gaal is playing only one competition.this is the most idiotic comparison ever. if SAF didn't win the league, moyes wouldn't have played the community shield. if SAF didn't qualify for europe, moyes wouldn't have played in the champions league. moyes failed to win us the league - he failed to qualify us for europe(not even europa) and you have the gall to mention the number of competitons he was still playing at this time last season? you are not intelligent at all. Can we see Moyes injuries number visavis other EPL teams over several season? Then we can take you serious.how's that relevant? you told us moyes always had a fit squad at everton. i busted that myth by producing injury stats of 3 different calendar years - you were caught pants down lying again. ![]() United refurbished medical centre in 2012, okay, you want to tell us Moyes closed it?so replacing experienced staff without quacks means he closed down the centre? these mumu genes shouldn't follow you to 2015. you better seek the help of oyakhilome before it's too late. |

So how many injuries did Moyes get from the day he was appointed? coogar:You are no longer sounding logical except resorting to insults. SailorXY:Sailor this is the very first time you're embracing objectivity and I'm impressed. Injuries are part of the game, those were the exact words I told Coogar weeks ago when he was busy dragging Moyes' name to the mud. It's a good thing you're admitting this. I'm being objective and it has got nothing to do with choosing debates. |

StarBoard:Not disputing the fact that Gaal is better. I saw Gaal's team in the wold cup. I saw the Ajax of '95 and '96. I know he is technical guru. But my argument is different. My argument is not about who is the better coach. I stated this many weeks ago. The fist argument some weeks back was about too many injuries in the team. The new issue which called me into this, is when some guys wont allow us hear word every time we won. There was no need telling us about how Moyes would probably have lost to Stoke blablabla. This argument was further prolong when some recent crisis were blamed on Moyes. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by coogar: 9:41pm On Dec 05, 2014 |
AirborneLacer:so why is it that the teams with the less number of injuries usually win league titles. why won't you say injuries are parts & parcel of the game when you have had nothing considerably ridiculous like united? i want to see schurlle & willian as your fullbacks with cahill & mikel as centre-halves for 4 league games. let's see if you would still hold this hypocritical opinion of yours when you drop 8 points out of the 12 available. |

coogar:You mentioned 41. Are you saying all Gaal's injury came in three months? And I put it to you that Gaal didn't have 41 injuries in three months (from August to October or September to November). coogar:If you cannot produce where I said Moyes had 18 injuries in Man United, shame on you. Your Moyes injury list actually expose you- Mr Contradiction. Lastly, we are yet to see Moyes injury season by season in comparison with other EPL teams. |

Louis Van Gaal Manchester United Rule Slammed by Michael Owen, Raymond Verheijen By Rob Blanchette , Featured Columnist Dec 3, 2014 Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has been criticised by a Dutch fitness coach and a former Red Devils player—with Raymond Verheijen and Michael Owen both making their feelings known about the team's injury list. Owen has been specifically critical of Van Gaal's conditioning of his squad, saying it has been a "really poor season" for LvG and directing the blame fully at the manager's door. His comments came during an appearance on BT Sport as the panel discussed Van Gaal's season so far, with Owen adding United have "no say [in the title race]." Colin Harvey of the Daily Star reported on Verheijen's comments to the BBC—where the fitness coach proclaimed Van Gaal's methods were the sole reason for his squad's pandemic injury crisis I think this was predictable. It's not a coincidence. I think the strength of Louis van Gaal has also been shown to be his weakness. I think this was avoidable. As an assistant I've seen with my own eyes that he has the ability, because he is a great tactical teacher, to improve a team and players within one session. He is extremely intelligent, extremely knowledgeable, but also very intense. That's what you have heard Manchester United's players saying all the time this season. This intense style of training and coaching is his strength, but also his weakness in terms of injuries. [...] You saw this pattern for the first time when he was coaching at Ajax. It happened at Barcelona, it happened at Bayern Munich and now it's happening at Manchester United. It's the same pattern. Some may find both Owen's and Verheijen's comments strange considering United are up to fourth and playing their best football for well over a year. Owen's comments are especially baffling. He cites Arsenal as a team who in the past "never suffered injuries," but the Gunners are themselves in the middle of a huge injury crisis now—under the same Arsene Wenger regime that Owen once played against. Verheijen's statement is more insightful, joining the dots between the clubs LvG has coached. United have now suffered a staggering 41 injuries since Van Gaal took over, per 101 Great Goals, with the players bursting to get out of the treatment centre at Carrington. But despite the injuries, Van Gaal has managed to find a way to get the team in tactical shape, if not yet a physical one. United beat Stoke on Tuesday night to record their fourth straight win in the Premier League, allowing them to sit in the Champions League positions going into the festive period. United fans have taken to Van Gaal and his gregarious style, and there is a real feeling of unity behind his methods and philosophy. The manager has been on the charm offensive from day one, highlighted by Bleacher Report's Rob Dawson after United's last match: After a season of heartbreak for the Red Devils following the exit of Sir Alex Ferguson, United fans are contented with their current state—with a lowering of expectations coming after David Moyes' failed tenure. Taking United back to the top is very much a long-term project, and it was clear last year that a number of professionals needed to leave the club. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2287799-louis-van-gaal-manchester-united-rule-slammed-by-michael-owen-raymond-verheijen |
