The jews would be surprised to find out that they actually worshiped Jesus in the Old Testament. But when Jesus manifest in a humble way many rejected Him. So if anybody tells You Jesus is not God the person is deceiving you This pic proves the Jews worshiped Jesus.  2 Likes 1 Share |

Jesus also said He is the Son of God, making Him equal to God. John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. God coming to earth was foretold in the Torah Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. mperoakeem: When Jesus died There is still God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. trinity co-equality is an error that must be rejected coz it is not in the bible..there is but one God the father known as Yahweh and one lord the man Jesus the son of God..thou Jesus is God but his subject under his father Yahweh. Everything has been given to the son by the Father, no dispute about that.  We only need to read the scripture deeper. |

chiedu7: I did not say trinity but trinity co-equality..besides that verse have a lot of controversy on it but I dont want to go into that. The father is greater than all..the father is responsible for sending the Son and the Holy spirit. Did the holy spirit or Son ever sent the father? NO! GOD ALWAYS EXALTS GOD OF THE GODHEAD.[/b] Where in the bible did Jesus or God said the last bolded?  let me help you out of your maze1 Cor.15:24-28 "24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all." Philippians 2:9All things was given to Christ yes!..we to pray in his name and ask in his nameso that through the son the father will be glorified. God still remain all in all ok. YET TO SHOW YOU AGAIN THAT THE HOLY GHOST IS EXHALTED TOO, The holy spirit is the Spirit of God it proceeds from God the father..this same spirit was used to anoint Christ. It is this spirit that works within Christ people for good..so I still have not gotten your point about the verse.
They exhalt each other indeed..but Jesus said the Holy spirit is to take from what is his(Jesus) and teach us and guide us to all truth..listen and read closely here..Jesus says again he will ask God the father to send the Spirit of truth(Holy spirit) to his talmidim (Disciples).. so u see everything revolves around the son, the son in turn is Subjected to the father..God the father remains the greatest The jews in john 5:18, did think that Christ was taking himself to be equal to the father but this is a major misunderstanding on their part. Jesus never considered being equal with God the father. Not for once in the scripture. So that take us back to phil 2:5-9 "being in the form of God did not considered EQUALITY a thing to hold" Forgive my typos if u find one..am lazy when it comes to typing. |

An2elect2: You lack understanding..there is just one true God but that does not mean there are no other Gods. Even God knows there are other Gods..he says in the 10 commandment hebrew " Lo yihyehlekha elohim acherim alpanai" ( Not, you shall have no other gods other before me) Then he says again in Isaia 45:5 "I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:" That is why he is the all in all ok. Dont get confused in the person of Christ. He is the Son of God..being call God does not make him equal with Yahweh.. God is just a title ok before you start foaming through your mouth  ..Yahweh is different from Yahshua.And I saw the nonsense and crap you were saying on the other thread I dont argue much.
