JOS, Nigeria (Reuters) - An explosion shook the city of
Jos in Nigeria's central state of Plateau on Thursday
evening, a Reuters witness said.

The cause of the blast at 6.30 p.m. local time was not
immediately clear and it was not known whether it
caused casualties. Nigerian security sources could not
immediately be reached.

A bomb blast in Jos in May killed 118 people and it
bore the hallmarks of Islamist Boko Haram insurgents.

i luv Jonah David Jang...d fact dt d guy restricted movement to d major part f d town to most motorists realy helped if nt,it wuld hv gone off earlier....dis ws d step he took..
1) No taxi or keke is allowed to d city center (dts wia d bomb went off).only private cars are allowed in
2) Buh taxis n keke re free to go in from 5pm..dts around d tym wia most workers re heading hum
so wen u go to d city center frm 7am till 5pm,dia is no hold up nor traffic hence no chance to set up an IED....i jst luv dt Governor
