Of course jealousy is a sign of love. But when the jealousy becomes too much, it leads to serious problems. Example: Checking your partner's phone excessively every 20 minutes can be very suffocating. It's a sign that you don't trust him/her.

I definitely do. infact if she doesn't show some sign of it I'd think she doesn't really love me. besides her showing it would mk me less likely to cheat.

It depends. If it's moderate and subtle, it could be true love. But if it's obvious it's a sign of insecurity, overpossessiveness and lack of trust.
