This is how they must build every street, or else they're still swimming in mediocrity:

Umuahia is a very beautiful city with white sands on the roads...very nice topography.the city lacks good hotels like the one you find in owerri, awka, enugu, steady water supply and stable electricity....my only problem is that market they relocated to ubakala, what are they planning to build there?

Thanks for your good contribution, but Umuahia has many good Hotels like Royal dageret, beneu Aires, kenvill, villa Roy, Helson Helson, Eastern comfort, gador, smilemore, benac, etc. If I'll be chanced, I'll try and cover some of them. Pls non of the Umuahia mkts was relocated to Ubakala, the main market was relocated to Ubani.

YES from Aba, Obingwa precisely but bro this forum is not for campaign. Though i support the notion for a real Ngwa man to rule because of the present condition of Aba.

i understand yu...now
But broda,i am not from abia...state....

I think why the abians didnt comment is becos of their present governor is not doing well in abia state...

esp aba...

majority of nairalander from abia state, maybe from aba resident, but due to the bad state of the environment,
Yu dont expect them to comment here...
Yu might be staying in umuahia, and yu ve see what the governor is doing there aesthetically...
So i think few umuahians are in nairaland not abia as a whole.....
Hope u understand me now...

Ok it's now clear to me, i stay in Umuahia but Aba is my hometown. I do defend Abia state but I'm not happy with the level of negligence meted to the city by the present administration.

My defence for the state is not i don't see what's happening in Aba but it was because of the bad perception and wrong languages people used against my state while i know too well that despite the present condition of Aba the city is very far better than many nigeria cities and abia state still have many quality development.

My prayer now is that let an Abia south man enter as a gov.

Lol, you made a good observation bro. But almost 78% roads in the Govt layout are like that.

The one i posted here is the commissioners quarter road. Thanks

Bia enyi if you will talk like this don't comment on this thread again. Mbakwe of which time, 1979-1983?

This type of comment always piss me up. Most of the things we have shown so far was planned and built by Orji Uzor and TA Orji.

Orji Uzor asphalted all Umuahia city roads, painted and marked and TA did same. It was Orji that planned and built govt/Aguiyi Ironsi layout while TA Orji complimented with more roads and govt properties.

It was OUK that built Ehimiri housing estate, mapped out Agbama housing estate, dualised and beautified library/Akanu ibiam road, it him that built BCA road and other dual carriage roads in the govt layout. It was TA Orji that dualised missionhill and Bende Road. The last pics posted by customized was built by TA Orji.

Bro, go and ask question, Mbakwe did not worked anything in Umuahia, the reason is very funny to hear. His work was centered on Aba and Owerri.

Without maintenance today Mbakwe roads would have become history.
