APC: What manner of change?

The APC has been consistent in saying that the PDP has ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery and several ills of society held sway. But a very close look at the APC, I am seeing

* Amaechi - 8yrs speaker; 7yrs governor under PDP,

* Atiku - 8yrs Vice president under PDP,

* Akume -8yrs governor under PDP,

* Bukola Saraki - 8yrs governor; 2yrs Senator under PDP,

* Timipre Sylver -4yrs governor under PDP,

* Audu Ogbe - 2yrs chairman of PDP,

* Aminu Masari - 4yrs Reps speaker under PDP,

* Chris Ngige - 3yrs governor under PDP,

* Kwankwaso - 7yrs governor, 3yrs Defense minister under PDP,

* El-Rufai - 4yrs FCT minister, 2yrs BPE chairman under PDP,

* Oyinlola, 7 and half years governor under PDP,

* Segun Oni, 3 and half years governor under PDP,

And to cap it all they went to OBJ begging, a man who they claimed spent 8 of the disastrous 16 yrs as the maximum ruler of Nigeria to come and lead them on a rescue mission.

It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the PDP, where the people who created and perpetuated the "16 Disastrous years" are now dumped.

Please Nigerians what is the change in this APC?

Is this really strange? Obviously No! President Goodluck cannot win the core North no matter how hard he tries. Even if he had done more than he did for them, when Buhari sneezes, any other person shivers there. Luckily for Mr President, he can still do much without the core north.

If there is any region PGEJ has to squander the N21bn campaign donation on now, it is the extremely polarized South-West. I am afraid these ones will decide the next president.

There is no polarisation of the west that supports a Jonathan presidency. Buhari is more popular than him. Buhari is actually more popular than APC itself in the west. You have to realise with that name the driver of the vote is completely different.

Buhari is Popular for what? For trying Adekunle Ajasin three times for the same offense? For killing three Yoruba young men for nonexistent crimes? How about for jailing Fela for spurious currency charges? I can go on and on but I demur.

Even Jagaban is licking Buhari's as*s for political expediency. Shame! Awo is rolling in his grave right now and Afonja is yelling in his grave and crying for vindication from the atrocities of the Gambaries.

4) who killed the power of zoning in PDP, is it a northern?
5) Are you happy with GEJ government?

What do you expect when people act before they think.

What do you expect when a president who is supposed to be a father to all open his mouth and say it is the vote of igbos that brought him to power. Forgetting that SE has the least number of states, the least number of senators and the least number of voters.

What do you expect when Clark - a supposed elder statesman - open his man and say opposition wants to kill the president forgetting that many northerners openly campaigned and rigged election for gej in 2011.

What do you expect when a president politicize the highly respected office of the CAN president in a foolish bid to rally christians behind him (forgetting that the country is split roughly evenly between christians and muslims)

What do you expect when the private jet of the CAN president was caught with over $9m trying to buy weapons from Israelis - (the southern christians would have shouted islamization of nigeria if the private jet of sultan of sokoto was caught trying to buy weapons from Iranians)

RELIGIOUS/TRIBAL POLITICS IS A DOUBLE-EDGE SWORD. IT WILL HURT THE OPPOSITION IN ONE DIRECTION AND HURT YOU EVEN MORE IN THE REVERSE DIRECTION.
To me GOODLUCK didn't do much but going by the last election he wasn't wrong in saying igbos voted him in,because he got maximum support from the region, the least state thing is political against the igbos but the number of voters thing is where you get it wrong, half of igbo population dont stay in igboland,if you visit the east In december and also in february you ll understand. Can president plane that was used was already into commercial use with genuine license, dont use this line again because the plane could carry even satan and the owner wont know a thing about it,moreover the money has been returned giving credence to the deal in that the only law broken was the amount of money undeclared was more than required. When did clArk become GOODLUCKs spokesman? .Even in 2011 there were many test messages going around about voting for buhari as a muslim and a northerner,nigeria have been divided along religious line since by the north or are you playing the ostrich to all those past, ask christians from other part of the north how it has been even before democracy. my family lived in kaduna for years before moving to abuja due to religious crisis, When buhari lost the same nonsense happened, its not equity if its only one sided,as a boy I can remember how many times we ran for survival before quitting kd, There is no love in the north even if buhari rules for 8 years they will still find a way to cause mayhem and kill people.

Four years on,I don't think Jonathan can pull enough votes from the north again.Jonathan has really failed many but I doubt Buhari is the right man to take over.

Inasmuch as we seek change, we should bear in mind that posterity will judge us at the end.Whoever ends up in Aso Rock should serve the people and not his pocket because Nigerians are tired of bad leadership.

I concur, GEJ has really failed several Nigerians and I don't see Buhari being the knight in shining armor either but as for posterity judging anyone, tell it to the marines.

I live in the north and i can categorically state that the way these northerners are going about 2015 elections may spell doom for this country.The fear in the minds of we southerners now is that what happened in 2011 elections is just a tip of the iceberg.This was why I opposed the emergence of Buhari as APC presidential candidate.These people will go to any lenght just to ensure nobody votes for any other party except APC.Like in 2011 elections where perceived christians and some PDP members were killed,the same thing may happen if Buhari loses this presidential election.What we hear in north today is 'sai Buhari' 2015,PDP and GEJ bokoharam.When people in a region decide to secede,people call them names.These sectional and religion politics being played in Nigeria today clearly show that there is no unity amongs people of this country.We are only deceiving ourselves.Well whatever might be the evil plans of northern elements in 2015 elections,God will frustrate them.I'm not running away from the north like what others have started doing now.As a nigerian,I have the right to live where I chose to live

Power WILL return to the north, go to middle belt, south east, again to south south, then south west based on what the north is negotiated with to give. You are wasting posts when you say power mist not return to the north. They determine where power goes in Nigeria. They are the base upon which the other tribes are sprinkled. Stop deceiving yourself. The north put Jonathan in power electorally and they have decided to remove him that was why Buhari won APC primaries.

you wait let go to the field. You people talk too much. See you people actually have a platform for propaganda. Almost all the print media are own by the opposition that is why they have been able to use the media as a tool of propaganda. All this noise are far from the reality. i have never seen since the history of newspapers reporting fake stories as it is now. is it Not in that same north Jigawa Governor voice his support for GEJ in the open. once again we shall meet in the field.

don't believe this report. The pdp just submitted gej name last week thursday ,serious campaigns will not start until this week. As long as there is a pdp governorship candidate contesting in any state of the federation, gej will go there and campaign and NOTHING will happen. The worst that will happen is some people rushing to nairaland and start crying like cry babies .the President will win 2015 election convincingly and emphatically.
