Yeah I do, I had to learn how to cook basic things while in uni, plus I know a few naija websites with recipes and how to cook so whenever I'm tired of eating junk, I can always go there to learn that being said, a real African dude like me always have females willing to cook for him.

Nice advice. Tell carefreewannabe to come to my gym(Close to my bedroom ) . That way,she can eat, workout and not add weight.

Ingredients

Stock fish
Beef or cow leg
Ukazi ( handful)
Ugu or spinach
Palm oil
One maggi
Salt and pepper
Crayfish

Let me teach you my specialty vegetable soup that will wow your guests
The ukazi adds a great flavour to the soup


Boil your stock fish till tender,
Then add and your meat with diced onions ,salt and pepper to taste and I cube of maggi into the stock fish mix and cook till most of water is dried.
Add your crayfish,palm oil and reduce heat and cook a few minutes
Then wash and blend your handful of ukazi and continue cooking( you can pound with mortar,if no blender)
After the ukazi has softened well,add your spinach ,cover and allow to simmer

I promise you,this soup will be great
I cook mine with cow leg and tendons and the stock fish.

Many guests in my house requests for this vegetable soup and take some while leaving
I threw a party in July with over 50 guests at my home and made a huge pot of this soup with other things
All the soup was gone by the end of that evening

wow, thanks a lot for the step-by-step procedure, i can get everything except the ukazi, i don't even know what it looks like and i doubt i can get it over here. can i do without it? am not cooking for any guest, am currently on vacation with plenty of time on my hand, so i have been experimenting with cooking and foods. you can see my 2 threads.

You can get ukazi from any African store but you can skip it

Why don't you get the butchers to do it for you at the point of purchase? They do it for free anyway and won't charge you a penny extra. My days of dipping in boiling hot water, plucking feathers, and butchering, are all well and over.
