but you agree you're suffering unless you among those causing the suffering in which case get ready for exile on feb15...ok ok you still hv till may 30

Good for you...but the core of my topic is that your BUHAri CANNOT & WILL NOT fight that corruption which is the only item in his manifesto albeit incomplete, because he is yet to explain the methodology to employ in this seeming fight...Is he going to employ angels as his soldiers or Nigerians in that fight of corruptionhuh?? How will he do ithuh?
What is your take on the points raised above as it concerns Buharihuh
Insecurity... I have written something before about this... Our army was strategically disarmed over the years and men on ground had no much training... COSMETIC soldiers were employed(they're cosmetic soldiers because they never forsaw boko haram coming hence came into the army through the back door for the fame and money). Now, with boko haram, they desert war fronts and run home with phantom excuses...Mind you; soldiers are supposed to be diehards...remember Biafra war story where men fought bare hand, with sticks and dane guns...and they withstood Nigerian army for 30months##bravery you may say##...I am not advocating that they go and commit suicide with boko haram...equipment alone is not the problem but also, the personnel...See other issues in my other quote of you to avoid repetition...
Buhari has no magic wand to stop and can not even fight corruption when he is surrounded by corruption and corrupt entities...and he is also enjoying corrupt money from their campaign funds to him which are state funds...or can he ever jail jagabanhuh...who just gave him a VPhuh who do you think will have the loyalty of that VPhuh jagaban or buharihuh...so wake up bro...thank you
This is really tot provoking....especially the VP stuff... i forsee tinubu via osibanju been the presido

Seriously, he cannot even jettison jabagan interest for that of buhari...so in the end; jagaban hijacks the presidency of buhari and calls the shots from Lagos...will corruption gohuh??

How do he plan to control the most times quarrelsome national assembly or does APC believe too they will win majority therehuh? PDP will try frustrating him through the national assembly and in the end, it may boil down to bribing them again to cool down and play along. By so doing; is corruption not being entrenched further in the polityhuhhuh

Fighting corruption goes beyond word of mouth...Most states including APC States are ridden with corruption and corrupt officers; who is promoting themhuh? GEJ toohuh? A governor recently donated cars to all national executive of APC; is the money from state coffers or his personal fundhuh?? So how will they fight corruption which is in themhuhhuh?

The bitter truth is that the heart of man is desperately evil hence in all; Corruption can NEVER stop but may be minimized. America and Uk today have corrupt officers too. No nation is free. Corruption maybe minimized Not by these boys shouting "sai buhari" or by any agency but simply by providing opportunities and engaging in national reorientation crusade to respect values, integrity, hardwork, etc more than money.

Most of the young ones or these others shouting corruption are neck deep into the mess. They steal in their little association, clubs, manoeuvre in schools, bribe their ways, jump queues, seek out shortcut to wealth without labour, respect a yahoo guy with enough money to spare than their poor secondary school teacher in his school, etc Its not just about leadership deficit but a foundational problem.

I am getting bored by all these sentimental essays laden with inaccuracies. I only need simple, unambiguous, straightforward and concise answers. Not quoting me and telling me cock and bull empty analogies.
Why're you being selective even in the ones you quote. Why not answer all the questions therein.
Now I really have to focus my energy on things that are more productive as I said before.
But I will just like to add a final note. Why will my analogies not be empty to you? Why are you so averse to reading facts from recognized news outfits.
Your phobia to reading verifiable fact prevented you from reading my response otherwise you would have read where I answered your question and even gave you example of FFK. If it was Buhari, he won't get in the way of justice. There are many more examples but I will save my energy since you can't see the weighty implication of the president actively preventing justice. Letting the law take its course is more than 50% of fighting corruption. But of course this is another cork and bull story in your opinion.

The billions of naira that was donated at the gej campaign launch is about a quarter of most states budget - if not more for some states. I know this is another irrelevant analogy in your opinion, but did you ask how gej (the current president seeking a re-election) will prosecute those donors? Oh, Sorry for asking the wrong question, corrupt individuals have alway seek asylum under gej's pdp umbrella because gej have never been know to prosecute them.

You're a funny guy...of all the issues I raised about buhari and I even attached numbers to help you identify each and provide necessary answers if you have any.
But your selective amnesia made you blind to all those. Its really quite unfortunate, what you have turned yourself into....

What evidence outside beer parlour gossip do you have to present for all these empty linkage of GEJ to FFK casehuh? Is GEJ judiciary toohuh? How did he influence the casehuh?? Any concrete evidencehuh?? Are you saying we have rubber stamp judiciary who can't stand on their ownhuh??
Oh! I see, when it favours APC; it is justice but when the court rules against them or in favour of their perceived enemies then the judge is either dumb or has been bribed by GEJhuh?? If it wasn't a fair judgement; what stops you from writing a protest letter online (we've too many outlets on social media) against the judge citing your reasons and evidencehuhhuh? Why crucify persons based on hearsay and rumours which you cannot substantiatehuhhuh

Go and answer my questions on buhari.....its about him not GEJ.....Or are you afraid of truthhuh??

I have never said GMB will end corruption. What I have always said is we need GMB to eliminate insecurity and reduce/minimise corruption. With the abysmally low level of our value system, it is just self deceit to say one man or one administration can end corruption. Here are some of my quotes here on nairaland in the past.

gists:
I am yet to see a country that is corruption-free! I didn't say I voted GMB to end corruption, I voted him to end militancy and REDUCE corruption and not fuel it as we have today! You can read my post again to reconfirm. If anybody thinks there is an angel somewhere in this present day Nigeria that will end corruption in two terms is just fooling him/herself. GMB is certainly not a god. He has is short-comings many of which has already be correctly listed. But I hope you'll agree he will do a better job at managing corruption is this country of course this nonsense insurgents.
and another example of where I stand:

gists:
You still don't get my point. Are you concerned about getting rid of corrupt old cargos alone? What about the new age corrupt men and women? Let say for a minute we are able to get rid of Obj, aneneh, tukur, nwobodo et al. Who do you suggest we replace them with? Do we replace them with GEJ, Fayose, obanikoro, Amechi, Akpabi, kwankaso? Which of them is clean. Or is it the delegates that are now being induced financially?

My point is these so called corrupt old cargos and new age thieves are not our problems because ultimately, we put them there because of our extremely low values system.

For me our value system didn't erode over-night and we shouldn't expect a revolution to correct it (because we will be deceiving ourselves). We need a leader that can "knock" us back in-line for a start. But one administration cannot start and finish the "rehabilitation" so we need to sustain that by electing another good leader who will lead by example and less afraid of stepping on some big toes. That process can start today by rejecting atiku's money.
Having said this, I don't believe all hope is lost. And unlike you, I don't believe all we can do is fold our arms and re-elect gej just because we think no one can stop corruption. I still strongly believe gej is not the ans. infact he makes things worse. We need someone to kick-start the reversal of this corruption entrenched system of ours and that is where GMB comes in.

I have answered your question but you refused to accept it. I am not going to bother about your list because I am not ready for ready-made comment - "another epistle laden with irrelevant inaccuracies". Suffices to say that getting the judiciary back on its feet and not getting in the way of justice will go a long way in fighting corruption. BTW I am AMAZED that you think the judiciary (that aquitted Ibori) is clean in this country.
Bode George is now a clean man (I mean he is no longer an ex-convict, which means he can contest election and hold public office), Cecilia Ibru got 6 months. The george in charge of Erastus Akingbola's case we heard was suddenly promoted - too many to mention. EFCC is essentially dead. Let them even do "selective witch-hunting" like during obj's tenue as long as the accused is not innocent of the charge.

My dear gists,
I must sincerely say that I am elated with some of your submissions. You seem to have a little bit more open mind than most folks I have interacted with on this forum who represent buhari.

Did you see my issue with buhari candidacy as it relates to national assembly politicshuh?? For sure; those guys won't allow him get over once he's from opposition party(APC). And to lobby them is entrenching corruption morehuh?

GEJ isn't corrupt to me but he may have corrupt individuals around him(which is not good). But the reality of the Nigerian state is that the good and responsible men, due to military recklessness abandoned politics(leadership) to crooks and rogues who destroyed Nigeria's value system. Now, the political, economic and every sphere is populated by these dare devils. You can't take a step without them rubbishing you and your government(read El-Rufai's accidental public servant). Most of those he painted as bad in that book; before he was witch hunted and forced out of PDP are in APC today answering progressives and saints with the same el-rufai. That's the irony of our political system.

See, where I gave example of what stakeholders in oil sector do. Even regulators(government agency) once you touch, they sabotage you with strike. And instead of Nigerians to condemn them, they turn against GEJ. Imagine subsidy, where the poor man now subsidizes oil for the rich today. But this would have been averted if subsidy was removed back in 2012.

So in all, to me GEJ isn't corrupt and he is fighting corruption. He did it in agricultural sector. He is doing it in civil service(bedrock of corruption) today through introducing IPPIS and already over 65,000 ghost workers have been removed and still counting. If national assembly passes PIB which will open up oil sector to private sector participation with government as regulator. Corruption there will reduce. Power is coming back; hence corruption is going away there with prepaid meters. And others.

Why can't state governments complement these efforts by pruning their states toohuh?? Most governors especially opposition states shift their responsibilities to GEJ who takes all the heat alone. Why can't we hold our councillors, LGA chairmen, and governors to answer ushuh?? Eg today GEJ is intervening in both primary and secondary education which are constitutional responsibility of state governments including the almajiri something.

Government and development is a continuum. And with all that GEJ has done and achieved. It can only be good for him to continue and finish it up. New government with different team means starting again with errors which the previous team might have learnt from and overgrown.

Believe me; with private sector participation which GEJ is championing today. Corruption will drastically reduce. Howhuh No free lunch(money & allocations) from government agencies for civil servants and politicians to loot anymore. Or do you think dangote or flour mills or innoson or bua group or any other private organization would allow looting of his investmenthuhhuh

GEJ till 2019 my good brother....

No sorry to burst your bubble. I do not see it as an unsubmountable challenge. The will and the courage to do the right thing is not there in this administration. It may be though but certainly not a mission impossible. The alternative is to fold our arms, resign to fate and watch how they continue to rape the country. I heard of a Ghanian proverb that if you refuse to sleep because of the fear of dying in the sleep, then that person will die of sleeplessness. If we refuse to vote for change because of the fear that no one can tame corruption and the national assembly, then we are doomed. Can I ask how has gej handled the national assembly till date? Of all the ills bedeviling the assembly, the only thing that concerns the president is the removal of security from the speaker and an attempt to prevent him from presiding over the house. All simply because he dared to defect to opposition. Is this how we want it to continue? Definitely NOT!!

Which opposition state government is shifting responsibility to fg?
As for why not hold other tiers of gov responsible. Because he is the head and the accountability should start from him. Who will take you seriously when you refuse to lead by example - e.g blatantly refused to declare your asset or when you make careless statement that stealing is not corruption. Or when you award pipeline surveyllance contract to a well known militant.
Source: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/oil-theft-so-why-was-tompolo-paid-n15-billion-/151835/

By the way, since then, oil theft has grown exponentially unchecked. Who will take you serious about accountability with all these attrocities and many more! How can you demand for accountability when the head is seen as actively promoting corruption.

"The issue of public asset declaration is a matter of personal principle. That is the way I see it, and I don’t give a damn about it, even if you criticise me from heaven. When I was the Vice President , that matter came up, and I told the former President (late Musa Yar’adua) let’s not start something that would make us play into the hands of people and create an anomalous situation in the country." . . . . That is the point! Go ask shell why they are drastically downsizing. With the rate at which most companies are losing revenue due to corruption (especially oil companies with the constant oil theft inspite of Tompolo being in charge of pipeline security - appointed by corruption lord GEJ) it is clear that Nigeria is on the brink of total collapse.

I appreciated you because your case isn't irredeemable...

Atimes, in an effort to sound intelligent and smart you achieve the opposite. At the point alhaji tsmbuwal said that he was PDP in body and APC in spirit. He wasn't attending any PDP function again. Most importantly, he said GEJ body language is promoting corruption not that he's corrupt. This simply means that there are thieves around him. Which is the same thing I said; that GEJ isn't corrupt but those around him maybe.

And this is exactly the case with your saint buhari who has the worst and most ruthless of corrupt officials around him. So what makes him different and better...huh?

I keep asking you questions about Buhari and you cunningly and mischievously run back to talk about GEj...

This is a thread that wants to prove that buhari is NO saint and he doesn't have any special talent or magic or solution to solve any of Nigeria's challenges...He's the worst and last thing, Nigeria needs now. he doesn't have the answer...thank you
