Lmao! You must really hate Darren Fletcher!gringringringrin
He's a waste of valuable space both on the pitch and on the bench..fletcher should have been sold aeons ago..the guy even lied to his teamates about his fitness condition seasons ago..he's just hanging around causing the team and supporters more grief.

No thanks to ryan giggs for playing the godfather!

You no understand my point.

However I am nt hating on him. Unlike what we see here about Rooney. Before I criticized Falcao, I had praised him. It's good you were able to remember one chance he missed. To me, there were three balls he could have scored from, and one was a chance FALCAO was expected to score so easily.
There were two critical crosses fron young that we expected Falcao to score, one was clear chance he missed, the other one had the ball slightly deflected which made his run early and so he could not get the ball as described by the commentator. You can't possibly blame hime for that!

His movement is very good and lively and I have said earlier that Falcao needs the ball early. I also noticed that he has a problem contrlling the ball when he receives it, as if he is in a hurry to execute whatever he wants to do and then gets the ball entangled btw his feet.

Yeah right! You should also take this your advise when peeps air their view about Rooney!
I can separate hate comments from objective comments. Most comments against Rooney are just hate comments. If I hated Falcao's game, I would have been writing against him virtually al match day. I have been defending him ever since he arrived.

Not disputing the positive things you have said here. May be I am holding him to a very high standard.

We really need more signings in defence in january its a shame evans gets more game time than blackett...evans has got nothing on the young boy....by january hopefully we can get one or 2 solid CB'S...

And I really hope players like anderson can be shipped off to any team that will accept them be it dagenham&redbridge or asante kotoko!

Its a crime shame people are debating the usefulness of GARETH BALE in this current united team...yet we can live with having fletch and anderson...SMH.

LvG says Rojo 2 weeks away, No Fellaini and Januzaj against spurs. Di Maria doubtful as he got injured just before the match .

What will happen to Carrick once Blind is fully fit? Will he drop to the bench or LVG will pair the both of them?

Guys, drop your opinion.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 9:21pm On Dec 26, 2014
The only way we would have Carrick and Blind on the field is when one is playing in the midfield and the other in the defence.

Gaal would not ordinarily want to bench Blind except he is very poor. He might end up in our defence if Carrick is preferred. Rojo, Shaw, are still players to come into the team. This is why I think Gaal will never buy more than one CB. He might not just buy at all while keeping faith with the guys available to mature. World class defenders can be made.

The other day, SAF said Carrick is the best midfielder in the EPL. That may just put the coach under undue selection headache. SAF shouldn't be talking like that.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 9:27pm On Dec 26, 2014
Today Falcao and Valencia had 100% pass accuracy. In the last match, Falcao's pass accuracy was over 90%.

I still feel that Carrick should always start for us as long as he's fit. LVG should try and find a way to accomodate the both of them if possible but he will still need to find a balance in each department.

Don't know what that Wilson does exactly.

Would have been better such chances are given to Januzaj.

Carrick is the glue that keeps us together, without him we're in disarray
That has been proven time and again!cool

Its not even up for debate in my opinion. Carrick and Blind both start if both fully fit. I would gladly talk 2 very good passing midfielders in the middle + either Herrera/Fellaini/Di Maria next to them depending on the opposition/ availability of Falcao/rvp/rooney.

I dont see both starting together with all our big players fit. Both are DMs and we can't play two DMs. Our creativity will just die.

We can do it because they are both passing DMs and not traditional defensive midfielders. In the bigger games and away from home, I would definitely prefer to play with both.

We don't need both. They both can easily be beaten and outpaced. We saw that with Carrick today. He was lucky he had hard working people around him.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 11:02pm On Dec 26, 2014
Gaal said he told the players to take the leg off the pedal. Possibly this was why we were less adventurous when Fletcher came on, then Rafael and Wilson meant we needed to play differently. The passing and time killing was cool until the penalty- which was soft.

For now, I can't tell if I prefer Carrick to blind. 'Cos when Carrick was in defence and we had Fellaini in midfield we still won. The Carrick effect may just have been exaggerated, and Fletcher's poor form makes the case worse.

Di Maria will soon return and fall to midfield. No space for two DMs. Let they fight for the one slot.

My take.
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by SailorXY: 11:35pm On Dec 26, 2014
I will take Blind over Carrick, simple & short... the guy is close to perfection with Herrera beside him! just add another ball-playing midfielder with pace & pawa to those two, and I'll give my left arm that Man United averages 70% possession next season

Manchester Evening News Players Rating: Man United 3 Newcastle 1

Young
Has been outstanding in wing back role and he was again. Could have had a hat-trick of assists if Falcao had made contact with his inviting crosses 8

Falcao
On another day he would have had at least a hat-trick. His failure to connect with three inviting crosses from Young is evidence that he is still feeling his way back, but his movement was encouraging 7

MrTA, codedguy1, SailorXY. The above is what I wrote about yesterday. I want to believe now you guys watch matches with sentiments, so you don't see what 'new wives' do wrongly on the pitch. Only the 'old guys' who have been around must be doing anything wrong.

Although, Codedguy1 agreed there was at least a chance that should have been scored.

WTF is this Belgium virus Fellaini and Januzaj are suffering from huh

Why are other Belgian players like Mirallas n Hazard not suffering the same or is the virus only at OT? angry

^ Fellaini has proved to be a very lazy player, just 5 straight games and he started complaining that he's tired. Januzaj, is he still at the club?

I agree, Elampiro is the only objective person on this man United thread. The only one who can detect hatred when someone berates rooney and that person can never berate rooney because he holds rooney to high standards just like when Elampiro criticizes another player.

We are all sentimental, except Elampawa!

See this Baba Ijebu,

If it were Rooney who had been missing chances like that, he would have been slaughtered here with gifs, articles from left right and centre in the internet. This thread would have added 150 more pages since season started. No one would have listen to any excuse.

So don't try to be smart on this.

What are you even saying sef? Someone missed three obvious chances in a match, and it's not the first time and you are here talking, that I shouldn't have mentioned it even though I praised him to high heaven for other things?

When Rooney did a solo great job from midfield moving past three City markers into the box but only failing to shoot, it was over highlighted here as if Rooney committed murder. He only took the wrong option under tight marking. Yet I agreed he should have shot with his left foot instead of trying to beat the last man to his right foot.

Rooney is not pardoned for even half error, and all his good works in a match are forgotten when you guys start focusing only on his slightest errors.

Abeg just park. I don't even know why you had to bring Rooney into this matter.

None of us mentioned above are coogar so no need to imply that. If you want to believe you're the only objective poster here that's fine. No one has pardoned any Falcao errors. But if you don't think stating that he missed 3 clear chances is a bit of an exaggeration then no problem. I hope coogar returns soon so you get what you're looking for.

You better calm down before you blow a gasket!

I have told you to stop assuming one persons opinion is everybodies opinion on this thread. There are always people that support different side of opinions on here.

Stop assuming people hate a particular player when he is criticized, we all can't have the same opinions about a player. You need to realise that.

I only mentioned one clear chance. I never counted the three as clear chances. But you guys said you did not see any clear chance.

Coogar is only one of those over reacting on every Rooney's play whether even his fault or not. So I know what I am saying in that regard. And I don't see you guys refuting such comments as you did here, 'cos it has to do with Falcao. Is Falcao not supposed to be the best finisher in the world?

Coogar is just like any poster here. What do you mean I get what I am looking for from him? When he comes, I finnd time, log to my laptop and we go. This is holiday.
