One of my new year resolutions is to marry, but after receiving the list, i rethinking on the marriage issue.
You can see the list my in-laws gave me. For me to marry their daughter…
1. N100,000 for bride price
2. 100 tubers of yam
3. 3 bags of rice
4. 15 crates of minerals
5. 5 hot drink
6. 7 packet of cigarettes
7. 3 He & She goat
8. 2 cows
9. N70,000 for the groom clothing
10. N100,000 for in-laws
11. N500,000 for their daughters education
12. 200 crates of beer
13. 100 bottle of wine
14. 5 set of tea
15. N50,000 for the roofing of their house before the traditional marriage
16. N120,000 for musical & dancers
17. 1 car for me your father in-law ( jeep precisely)
18. 10 set of tobacco
19. 30,000 for kola nut
20. 100,000 for my mother in-law clothing
21. N30,000 WACE registration of their son
22. N70,000 for the father Ozo title
23. A car for their daughter
24. A monthly salary of your in-laws
25. An a befitting burial for any of my in-laws
26 200 gallons of palmwine
27. N10 million cash at hand on the day of your traditional marriage
Note: Please this list is just for now;they may be other list from the villagers. Thank you my in-law and God continue to bless. I have been thinking if am going to marry her and use the wife for rituals to recover my money back. But I won't so my new year resolutions on marriage is to remain SINGLE, unless i see a cheaper or FREE marriageable lady.
