With the death of my last Chinese phone UMI C1, i have been on search for a new mobile; As a die-hard lover/ fan of china phones i have been scouting for good phones that will make a mark if not for the whole year 2015, least for the first half of the year.

We will agree that for the year 2014, some phones made remarkable mark -- One plus one, Xiaomi Mi4 etc. While some phones even with the much media hype and articles they are nothing to write home about -- IPhone 6, IPhone 6L, Samsung Galaxy S5, UMI Zero, Elephone P2000, Lumia 520 and Lumia series etc.

As we close in on the year 2014 and bask into the euphoria of a new year, i do like to give my predictions for top 3 Mobile Phone that will make a mark in first half of 2015.

1. JiaYu S3
2. Elephone P7000
3. Meizu m1 note.

Thanks for this useful post. You've saved me a lot of time I would have used searching on Aliexpress. It will be JiaYu S3 Insha Allah. I will add it to my wishlist awaiting its launch in January.

Sorry I just couldn't help quoting you. Do you know the Chinese phone manufacturer Xiaomi is now the 3rd largest phone manufacturer in the world (next to iPhone and Samsung)? Do you know the brains behind this company were major western telecommunication gurus who decided to move to China to manufacture phones that would combine the features of iPhone and Samsung into one phone? I just saw the JiaYu S3 mentioned above at:
