Your documents are really few,
ASSET AND FINANCIAL STATUS
1. You submitted statement of account? Who was your sponsor?
2. What does, he or she do? How did u prove how he/she came about the money in the account ( employment letter where he works, that's if he works, or cac documents if he or she owns a business)
3. No letter of sponsorship or affidavit of support?

PURPOSE OF TRAVEL
1. What did you study in uni,
2. What level of studies are you going for l.e diploma, pdge,MSC or PhD ?
3.is your intended course related to your undergraduate studies or do u have work experience in it?
4. If not you should have written a statement of purpose stating why you intend to study the course and its benefit to Nigeria afterwards
LENGTH OF STAY
1. This too needs an Sop, where u stylishly emphasize that you will come back to develop your country
EMPLOYMENT
1. What do you currently? Got a job or nah
TRAVEL HISTORY isn't much of a biggie.

Pls do answer these questions, these are the little I can remember now.. People in the house will help you tackle when you answer.
Cheers
thanks so much sis.

The TRV for study was applied for from Nigeria by my lady, she's the one going for the masters and I represent her here on this thread wink. I'm visiting with my own visitors TRV that's valid till some time in 2017, currently doing my own masters in England.

It is not a necessity, unless you're flying Egypt air.
Atleast, it in their terms... still peeps fly them on one way. You only need to give them reasons to let you. Like letting them know the duration of your studies

I am making plans to study in Canada (PhD Level), I intend going with my family, wife and two kids; do I need to apply for them separately or I have to apply alone and submit their passport along with mine.

In this regard how much is expected to be in my account to cover my tuition and living expenses?

Do I need to have my entire tuition for the four years and living expenses in my account as Evidence of Financial Support?

Going with my family they might think I will not come back again, but I did my Msc. in the UK and came back will that help me.

Hi guys/ladies,

I am applying for a PhD program in UBC and UoAlberta for fall 2015. Just a quick and maybe silly question..... Will a pregnancy affect my chances of getting a visa? Those that have done medicals.....were you required to do X-ray? Has anybody here got study visa when pregnant?

Btw, I am not currently pregnant but it is possible i may get pregnant before I can get admission and apply for study visa....

Thanks!

Khodry:

@kellycute pls i have few questions for you concerning centennial college admission;
1. Hope age is not a factor, as it is a college
2. Which is the easiest root for consideration; secondary school graduate or college/university graduate?
3. The transcript to be mailled is it supposed to be in a particular format? If yes what format? and are we to send both waec and university transcript?
4. Is TOEFL or IELTS compulsory for Nigerians? as our education is in English. If yes is it compulsory at this stage?
Thanks in anticipation of your response
I jus email u check

Do you already have admission with another school? If you do, present the admission letter to your current school that you want to transfer.
Well, that was what I did with mine, you might need to check your school website for procedure.

why do you wanna get pregnant?,. To claim u have a baby born in Canada or what?...Dont u think dat would even affect your PhD program?..PhD students are normally fully funded....so u don't need to have all that money in your account..just something to see you through the first year would be ok

For those currently on a study permit in Canada, what form is the study permit; is it a paper doc or simply stamped on the passport like the TRV ?

The study permit is a paper document

if you wanna deliver over there, go on visit and do that, not with study visa.

Pally, apply alone, when you get there, you can apply for your family.
Since you have a family, it would be expected that the family will be well take care of while you are away.
I don't think you need to have the tuition and living expense for the 4yrs but having it gives you a good advantage.
If you ask me, I will say have it with extra sefand you should be ok with the financial aspect of ur application.

lol, but really, how would she cope with a Phd and pregnancy or baby?
I think she ought to determine what is priority for her first then go ahead with what she wants to do.
