People always talk about this blind trust I don't understand, i don't see how your partner going through your phone proves lack of trust. Why will you be worried about being trusted or not if you are really trust worthy? Abeg to each his own jare.

Ok

Draw a clear line between business and pleasure

If they see you are married, that should scare them to back off if conditions are right.

I do not think it is healthy for there to be a lot of admirers at This stage.

Both single/engaged and married men, u wld be surprised how they flock arnd looking for prey

No wonder divorce will keep soaring even higher, no faithful couple will attach much to their device. The day my spouse starts complaining about my touching his phone, i don't need a diviner to tell me that the marriage is gone.
Exactly.

If you are not hiding something, why will you be worried about your phone being checked?
you are the only woman that made sense here!

I thought women are the ones that love to go through their men's phones all time but they are here advicing others to stay away if they want to live long..smh..I'm very sure they don't do what they preach here..

People who protect their phones has something diry going on..

"What you don't know won't kill you"..until HIV catch you..

Exactly, the whole "if you want to live long" BS makes no sense, you wont worry about your phone if you aren't hiding something. Some throw the " You don't trust your spouse card " to escape confronting the fact that their spouse is cheating and they did rather shy away from that fact. This advice of what you don't know won't kill you is a dangerous one, i rather know and tailor my life accordingly, no one died .

What are the things she is not supposed to check?
I'm an educational psychologist. I've pupils' sensitive information on my phone including parents' information. So in that case, she's not allowed to touch my phone. That applies to all professionals in behavioural sciences as clients' information is to be secret.

Like someone stated earlier it depends on your reasons for using your partner's phone, if it is just to make calls or browse then I have no problem with that.

Going through your partner's phone just to check their activities is not ideal for a healthy relationship.
Perhaps. Tho it's bad but it's a two way things anyway. A Man/Woman that has element of unfaithfully in their doings usually raise eye brow when their spouse is checking their phone.

After reading my girlfriend whatsapp chat
I die that night
When I resurrected
I was disappointed
Till today I have not recovered

Talking about married people pls if you want
To live long it's a no go area
Because you might not have d chance like me
Of resurrection

There is this married woman in my street
After I updated her whatsapp chats start coming in
To my surprise I opened one with d name semi(seminerian) On reading the chats I found out that they are sex mate

Tell me why d husband will not die if he checks her phone?

I believe marriage should be a transparent entity. Though not married, as a matter of principle, I don't go through my man's phone. Not for anything. He goes through mine, he knows I've got admirers & I'm aware he has too but I believe snooping on his phone is unhealthy for my health! In marriage, I hope we can find each-other more trustworthy as to share everything & anything!

I don't think there's a right or wrong here. It depends on your perspective.

I don't like it myself. I value [my] privacy.

From experience, better stay off, what you don't know won't kill you. Everytime I check my spouses phone i get heartbroken that it affects me for days, I just told myself if I want my marriage to last, no matter how tempted I am I won't check the phone. Gallery alone is heartbreakimg not to talk of messages. So my advice always keep off.
