My windows 8 bluetooth was working fine since purchased until recently..nw i am unable to send to d pc and i cant also send out of d pc to phone or co pc..attempting to send out of d pc displays "service does nt exist...i also noticed pairing is nw very slow and atimes pairing failed..pls help

I really dont know if my laptop problem is of hardware or software.... i notice for smtimz now, i cant browse using wireless, modem n even d cable... putin my laptop @ risk cos i cnt update antivirus...
I really dont wanna risk givin it to a repairer cos of the chances of tamperin wit anoda tin... can sm1 hint me on wot is likely to b wrong pls?... hpcompaq presario cq57

well, first of all, i would wanna suggest you just facing soft issues, from what you said no antivirus for a long, i would say it aint reaaly a wise idea, dou im also guilty of the same crime. I only make use of the windows defender and the malwarebytes.

The first thing i would recommend you doing is updating to windows 8.1, windows 8 is a flop and 8.1 is a final job. i believe ur windows aint genuine , that's why u getting NOT GENUINE MESSAGE.

It obvious u are facing SOFTWARE/DRIVERS Issues....
What Antivirus are u using... Ur firewall could be where the problem is...AVAST is guilty most times.

IT DISPLAYS A LOCKED ICON IN FORM OF A PADLOCK AND STAYS THERE, IT SEEMS I AM TO SUPPLY A PASSOWRD FOR IT TO CONTINUE BOOTING BUT THE LAPTOP WAS SENT FROM ABROAD AND I WAS NEVER GIVEN A PASSWORD, WETHER CMOS PASSWORD OR SUPERVISIOR PASSWORD I DONT KNOW WHICH.

just visit www.avast.com and download there free version, install it. Den I will give u d key to activate it

Check your firewall settings. Temporarily disable your antivirus protection & see if the problem persists.

The first thing that you would obviously want to do, is to scan the hard drive for malwares. You can remove the hard disk & connect it via usb to a healthy computer, with an up-to-date anti-malware software.

After scanning for malwares, open command prompt with administrator privileges & run CHKDSK E: /R (where E is the drive letter of the usb-connected hard drive).

Reinstall the hard disk on the original computer & power on the system. Run SFC /SCANNOW from command prompt with administrator privileges.

Hope this helps with the freezing.

help, my hp laptop windows 8, not recognizing Game controllers any longer

hello my problem is kind of weird, all my the three usb port in my pc was working perfectly,untill oneday the pc hanged,i rebooted,the two usb on the left side refused to work.i have refreshed the pc and its still like that.
