True, but I think it was the case of insecurity we used to experience that spurred the fencings.

And they make ot so high that it hides the beauty of the house and thats not good for the city aesthetics. Even if they want to fence the building why cant they design a more fanciful type that will reflect to the streets. And what about wire fence with bushes and flowers planter around it to radiate beauty.

Hmm! Phyno na real big boy oo..

It was even my friend that stays in that estate told me, that was why I took a snapshot. Well you could be right though..

Is just that I think Phyno being an Anambra boy may decide to build it as 'Aku luo uno'

I know but I dont think he is up there yet, financially. Do you know how much it cost to erect that house? Nobi beans ooo

Anambra is the SE biggest economy. Whatever you feel cannot change that fact which even the World Bank is aware of..

The do the same in Aba/Abia, to arguably a greater extent.

Ngozika estates is a gated villa. They have a spec concerning fencing..usually very low fence with iron grill..so you could actually see the beauty of the house.

It's the main difference between American homes and Naija homes.

But, in America, 911 telephone number works like magic to bring police to your home. In Naija, your only succor is your fence lol grin

I think our people just lack ideas, because there are other mean you can use to safeguard your home, which is even cheaper. Like security alarms monitor. When trespassers touches your fence/door it comes on with red and blue light and wakes the whole neighborhood. This to me is more reliable than 20ft fence.

That one is nice but they should go for a more fanciful gate and the street needs to be touched up and marked if they want the beauty of the estate to come out. And please, less cement and more greenery.

Please leave the Oru guy.

My maths teacher in primary school at Fegge was from Oru East. He was so much like an Anambra man. Looking back now, i have realized that almost 90% of the elementary school teachers in Fegge public schools then were from Imo state! Most of them were from towns like, Akokwa, Urualla, Mgbidi,Awommama and Orlu which are all in today's Imo state !!!
Most of them are now retired and receiving pensions in Onitsha from Anambra state government. I thank God for those teachers in molding our character. I have a classmate who is working with NASA in New Orleans, USA and he still talks about Mr. Aginam and the other great teachers that flogged the sense into us.

Imagine if Anambra state had sacked these illustrious Igbo people under the guise of being from Imo state? It would have been an unimaginable disaster. Ikengawo and other silly eediots have said if Ojukwu were from Imo state, Biafra would have won? Now, in 1966, there was nothing like Imo or Anambra state. Infact, Ojukwu used cities in Abia (Umuahia) and Imo(Owerri) as defacto capital of Biafra. Why didn't he use Ihiala,Uli,Nnewi or Ekwulobia, since he is such Anambra bigot according to Ikengawo? Ojukwu had severally referred to Aba as the commercial capital of Igboland. Indeed had Biafra survived, he would have spent massive state funds to build it up into the technological innovation capital of Africa. Why would Ojukwu root for Aba instead of his native Nnewi if he was an Anambra bigot according to Ikengawo? Some of these children should be ignored, so that they don't make us mis-speak.

It's because we're intelligent lol. Nna I'm not going to be a part of this Igbo vs. Igbo fight but if you tell me the sky is pink I will say it's blue and that's not an insult to the color pink. Imo state is richer than Anambra state, I'm not going to concede this to spare your feelings because it's the truth.

Look at that beautiful house and tell me what its lacking. GREENERY! In America you have gated communities too, with big fences but the only difference is the VEGETATION. They still plant trees and flowers that outgrowns the fences and leans over. Those greenery gives the environment a breathtaking look.

The height was to deter criminals. Hopefully it starts changing as from now that aura of security is being felt. Govt can as well help enact such laws prohibiting high perimeter fencing at certain places. I could remember when Obi mandated all fences along main roads be pulled down, I witnessed some of them being bulldozed.

The teachers that taught me in primary school were mostly from Ikeduru and Urualla.

Even in secondary school we had more Imo Teachers than Anambra in my school then, the former LG chairperson of Ogbaru LGA was an Mbaise woman Chief Mrs Calister Nwachukwu 1999-2002, even as of now in Ogbaru there more Mbaise people in the LG than Ogbaru people then because she filled most of the positions with her kiths n kins from Mbaise.

Sometimes if i listen how these Igbo states insult Ndi Anambra i will like breaking the egg to make an omlet.

Anambra State government owned commercial transport company ANIDS have no park in Onitsha because government sacked them from Upper Iweka open space they were staying before.

GUO a transport company own by Anambraman was prevented from using a space in Upper Iweka as park because Anambra State government banned it, they even won Anambra State in court but the government is yet to heed the court order, if this were to be another person from sister state we know now.

Yet in Upper Iweka, Peace, Enugu North, ITC, Abialine, etc are loading without any harrasment or disturbances from Anambra State, can this happen in those states.
Go to Peacepark, speak Nsukka they will not charge you for loads but once your onye awaraku(Anambra) they will cut your throat with charges.

I have been pretending as if am not seeing or hearing all the anti-Anambra sentiment going everywhere in Igboland, i have been quiet for a long and must go on and spill the beans no matter whose Ox is being gored.

They are just conspiring to bring people that did nothing to them down, one wawa dingbat said during Old Anambra they were dominating Ndi Anambra in politics but the Okpahead didnt remember that Anambra were the face of Igboland in national politics, Zik adopted Jim, Ekwueme adopted Ono, many Anambra like Edwin Umezoke were gunning for speakership while Akwaeke Orizu have been the Senate president.
They said they are wawa people but when you call them wawa they will be scheming for a fight yet those they called ndi agbaenu are going about their normal businesses without blushing with fury.

Its not my intention of writing this but the anti-Anambra sentiment in Igboland is becoming more and more popular among the elites from sister states so i must let everybody know that we know what is going on.
