Maybe De gea don too win the award, the organization got tired of giving it to him
Lol probably

But ashley young deserves the mention

His transformation is remarkable

He just lent more credence to the statement “no one is useless”.

What are your opinions on the nominees for uniteds player of the month award..

Rooney,ashley young,carrick

I choose young he's been a revelation in his new position.
I'm surprised that de'gea is not among the nominees

I think young should win it

Yeah, i think DDG has won a few already so time for someone else. I'm not his biggest fan but i have no problems with Young. He's been very good most of this season.

Fellani should tatoo that on his forehead.
To be honest have been more impressed with Mata than Young.
Young has been doing well but its no more than he was doing when he was playing well but, Mata has been underwhelming over the last two games flashes of the old Mata don start to show.

Overwhelming u mean?

Fellaini is just a lazy guy.

The crazy boy was complaining about too many games....and we are not even playing in europe this season...maybe he will quit when we start next season.

more like rooney worsened our run. we won all our games when rooney was suspended. he came back against city & lost us the game. we won about 3 games in his absence.

I just find the time to check sharp sharp.

Everton, West Brom, Chelsea. Coogar said we won all. Yet we won one.

Thank God it was when Rooney returned we went on a winning run from his second match after the game at Ethihad. If the run had started earlier, Coogar for no let us hear word.

Mr. Coogar, you need break. This goof of yours is unpardonable. Your hate for Rooney don screw your thinking....

I meant to say Mata hasn't impressed me personally since he joined except for our last two games.

88 - RVP
88 - falcao
86 - rooney.
As at what date?

Link?

How come Rooney was shortlisted as one of the best strikers in the world while RVP was over looked by FIFA worldwide votes leading to the ballon d'or?

.........
The FIFA FIFPro World XI is decided by the players, for the players. It involves votes from tens of thousands professional footballers worldwide. They select one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards.FIFPro and its national affiliates are responsible for gathering votes from professional footballers worldwide. It is the only global award that truly represents the views of those who play the beautiful game. For more information on the voting procedure can be found on the FIFPro website.

The forward shortlist is: (home country / club)

Sergio Aguero (Argentina / Manchester City FC)
Gareth Bale (Wales / Real Madrid CF)
Karim Benzema (France / Real Madrid CF)
Diego Costa (Spain / Chelsea FC)
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal / Real Madrid CF)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Sweden / Paris Saint-Germain FC)
Robert Lewandowski (Poland / FC Bayern München)
Lionel Messi (Argentina / FC Barcelona)
Thomas Muller (Germany / FC Bayern München)
Neymar (Brazil / FC Barcelona)
Marco Reus (Germany / Borussia Dortmund)
Arjen Robben (Netherlands / FC Bayern München)
Franck Ribery (France / FC Bayern München)
Wayne Rooney (England / Manchester United FC)
Luis Suarez (Uruguay / FC Barcelona)

The final FIFA FIFPro World XI will then be announced at the FIFA Ballon d’Or award ceremony at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 12 January 2015. During the televised ceremony, the winner of the FIFA Ballon d’Or for the best player of 2014 and the winner of the FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year 2014 award will also be revealed, while the FIFA World Coach of the Year awards for men’s and women’s football will be presented for the fifth time. The FIFA Puskás Award for the best goal of the year, the FIFA Presidential Award, and the FIFA Fair Play Award will also be presented during the award ceremony.

Wayne Rooney needs 2 goal to become the 1st person to score 10+ goals in 11 consecutive Premier League seasons.

David de Gea has described his development from skinny youngster to impregnable stopper at United to that of Captain America's physical transformation.
Comic book character Steve Rogers morphed from a frail pushover into a muscle-bound crusader through an experimental serum, and De Gea has joked about his own Marvel superhero build.
"I was like Captain America in one year! No, I still do the programme, although not as much as before. It is more of a reduced programme now but certainly I did a lot of gym work at the start and it did have a big impact."
De Gea could not speak English when he joined United, now he is confident when conducting interviews in his professional language.
"I actually think the biggest impact is when you are in the dressing room, you need it on the field as well, of course, but you need it in the dressing room.
"I think the fact that I have started to do interviews in English has really helped as well, it has helped me to learn more of the language as well."

* As at September. It's stale. RVP and Aguero are no longer in same category.

* FIFA technical committee. The same people who handed Messi world cup best player and you cried foul. It's even worse than who scored which uses standard parameters.

how is it stale?
that's the FIFA list till next season right there. your FIFPRO is a popularity contest - voted by football players just like PFA awards. no stats or factual evidence involved. players just vote solely on their opinions.

The opinion vote is the right vote. The most objective. Voting based on what you saw the players did on the pitch.

When you begin to look at stat, you already have lost objectivity.

Exactly..

However, in this scenario, the opportunity to test drive falls under this loan spell of his. Why then should we spend 43m on a machine that, for some unfortunate reasons didn't match our requirements and expectations during the test drive?

Vidic was an unknown 7m rookie scouted from the Serbian league. If he didn't do well, it woulda even been easier for the club to dispense with him without much ado.

That's exactly the point...

Adapting to the rigors of the epl is always gonna be difficult even for top players who have been in top form. It's definitely gonna be worse for a 29year old (ignoring the age falsification scandal) struggling for form, fitness and injury issues. Why then should we go ahead to pay big money for such a player who failed to put these demons behind him, considering the fact that we were even lucky to get a "test-drive"?

Honestly, It's my wish to see him excel during this loan spell of his but if he continues to put in uninspiring shifts like we saw today, we may have to look elsewhere during the summer.
Is it your Money?
