Yes there ws power interuptn durin d upgrade because i 4got to open d fuel tap of my gen since there ws no light in my area.
As 4ur 1st qstn, i want u to hep me on hw discern a fake or genuine decoder. Thank u my guru

@SweetWJ.Go to crosat.us & download the latest software patch for your receiver.Unzip & save into an EMPTY virus-free USB flash drive & insert into receiver.

Switch main power OFF.While holding (pressing) power button on the front panel,switch the main power ON.The receiver will be forced to upgrade.

@cehz.Your dish is not properly aligned & that's why RDV is red.You need a bigger dish (at least 1.8 m) for EPL matches.Send me a PM.

Just what other stations can this sat take, epl footy and Hollywood movies. Channels.
P.s. The rdv and box channels don't show at all with the tp i used believe to be 10804h something like this.

It is an integrated terrestrial antenna(California amplifier)!uses a different frequency from an ordinary outdoor/indoor antenna normally for cable Tv!though the unit can't pick up a normal terrestrial digital/analogue broadcast!contact CTL cable tv operator etc, if they operate on your location...

I hav been tryn to trap chennel available on amos5 on str 4669iix using rdv:10804h30000 and fox sport:12418h30000 but the signal didnt pop up and i try switching d polarization but null avoid.
While on my str 4922a this frequency worked in a different house where i trapped them.
Gurus in d house can any of u help me solve this problem cus i want to do 2 in 1 connection(multi tv n daarsat) using the str 4669iix decoder.

The correct polarities are 12418V & 10804H.

Also check to see if there are obstacles like trees. During my early days after boasting to a colleague he asked my to fix multi tv for him. I tracked from 7am till 3pm! He then pitied me and asked me to leave. But later I discovered that a plantain tree had been blocking signals all the while.

Yes it will work.
The number on the sticker at the rear of receiver is the Serial Number (SN).

Code Number (CN) is extracted from receiver's Menu.
Press Menu => System Settings => Security Settings.
CN is revealed on d bottom line of the screen.
