adbokus:
It's obvious boko haram has been used to good effect. 'this country will be made ungovernable' was the dire utterance and by estimation more than 2000 Nigerians have been killed since, properties worth billions of Naira destroyed and more than a trillion naira expended on security. All these due to an evil that was masterminded to serve a political end. Up till this very day none of the northern (core) elites has publicly voiced their denunciation or condemnation of boko haram; none, despite the glut of wealth in the region, has extended a hand in the form of relief materials to those displaced victims of the carefully masterminded deadly sect. You must have noticed that campaign in the north is all but unnecessary for the APC pres. candidate but PDP has been summarily neutralized over there? You must have noticed that APC VP candidate was chosen, to good effect, as part of this massive strategy which began since way back? PDP may definitely be wasting time with trying to win this election because all they have to battle for is the south and APC VP candidate is already pulling that weight. But enough of all these, my main observation and question are these: obviously, we have been massively 'persuaded' by utter wicked violence to sway in the direction of a particular candidate, one whom we now see as a 'saint', a newborn agent of change, the remedy to cure all ills! The selfsame violence that was instigated to completely destroy the candidacy of the incumbent opponent because of why we know.
Now, are we going to let this injustice stand? Are we saying any candidate in future can decide to use even more barbaric means to attempt to 'cajole' electorates to sway in their direction? In what account are we going to record the massacres that has gone on even till now in the north? What kind of people are Nigerians? If we have forgotten or in denial, the creator hasn't and he will serve vengeance with scalding brutality!!!
'this country will be made ungovernable' where on earth did Buhari ever say dis? Show me a proof u liars or remain deaf and dump 4 d rest of ur life!

Technocracy:
WITH ALL THESE ASSURANCES TO WIN APC STILL THREATENS TO FORM A PARALLEL GOVERNMENT THEN THEY ARE NOT SURE OF WINING

Because they are simply creating social media NOISE that do NOT translate into votes on the streets and villages of our dear country.
Can you imagine bribing a splinter group APGA state chairman and impostor to make pronouncements that are quickly published by Punch and immediately pasted on Nairaland for FP
Shows you how DESPERATE and despicable these pretending rogues and crooks are

The REAL citizens who have felt the impact of this federal administration in:

- revived railways.
- revived INTERNATIONAL airports with scheduled flights
- transformed agricultural production with increased INCOME for farmers and agri-business people.
- rehabilitated & expanded roads
- almajiri schools
- new federal universities
- increased EMPLOYMENT from revived textile, automobile etc factories and breweries

despite an endless insurgency by those who do not want education, will vote for CONTINUITY of these good policies that are now yielding durable results.
QED!!!

At those saying this man is "fake" and calling him a "Tinubu lackey" et al, I must ask if you guys are stuuuuuupiiiiiid for missing the substantive point?? Who cares what this guy is? It is the combination of events and how everything is happening that is indication a general trend. Are you not seeing Ohaeneze, always solidly behind GEJ in the past, now hedging its bet because of the fear of sinking with a drowning ship full of toxic waste? Even if the group endorses GEJ completely tomorrow, the damage is done and "the Horse has bolted from the stables".

Did you guys not see Atiku, the perpetual decampee, stick two fingers up at the PDP bigwig who tried to woo him back to the PDP and even went public to confidently say "Atiku and Kwankwaso will be back in the PDP before the election"? Quickly and without delay, Atiku told PDP publicly "mba , I no dey come this time. I am done with you". Kwankwaso too very similar. He accepted an APC senatorial seat and came out to state the PDP is scared and that is why the Party wants him back. Drivers from the North will not drive GEJ campaign buses and PDP politicians in the North, unlike 2011, are guarding their personal ambition while covertly working for Buhari at the Presidential level !!!!

The SW is taking to Osinbajo as if he is a mini Awolowo (literally) and so many other things are happening like the Rev.Mbaka public destruction of GEJ and the PDP. Why will those who stood solidly behind GEJ in the past not now be entertaining the fear they may lose it all betting everything on a tired and injured horse about to enter a race against a virile thoroughbred ? You guys can continue wasting your time trying to discredit the messenger without understanding, until it is too late, that the truth of the message is even highly understated. You guys can remain here trying to use propaganda to prop up a house falling like a pack of card but the world has seen this all before. It is what happens when an old, tiring and injured king is on the way out while a virile and favoured successor grows stronger and closer to his destiny. This is what leads many to begin proclaiming "the King is dead, long live the king".

Atiku, Kwankwaso Vow Not to Return to PDP

05 Jan 2015

As APC lauds Ohanaeze’s stand on Jonathan

Onyebuchi Ezigbo in Abuja

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have rejected moves by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to woo them back to the party from the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC).

PDP’s National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo, had recently muted the idea of luring both Atiku and Kwankwaso back to the party.

But while reacting to the statement, Atiku’s spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, dismissed the story, saying his principal had bade farewell to the PDP and nothing would take him back to the party again.

In the same vein, Kano State governor said the attempt to woo him back to the PDP was a confirmation and acknowledgement that the PDP was going to lose Kano in the 2015 general election without his help.

Kwankwaso, who spoke through his Director of Press, Baba Halilu Dantiye, said asking the governor to abandon the APC and rejoin PDP signified a “vote of no confidence on the Kano PDP leadership.”

Both Atiku and Kwankwaso had while undergoing screening for the APC presidential primaries signed an undertaking that they would not decamp from the party even if the failed at the primaries.

Kwankwaso, who is presently the APC Kano Central senatorial candidate, however said he had never contemplated abandoning the APC because of the platform it gave him to render service to his people.

Meanwhile, the APC in the South-east has congratulated Ohanaeze Ndigbo for “shooting down” a motion for the endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan as the candidate of the Igbos in the 2015 presidential election.

A statement by the spokesman of the APC in the South-east, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, described those who opposed the motion, which was moved by a PDP chieftain, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, at the Imeobi (inner caucus) meeting of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo on Saturday as true Igbo patriots.

Okechukwu expressed happiness that Ndigbo had realised that it did not make sense to put all their eggs in one basket, especially when the political scenario in the 2015 presidential election differs remarkably from that of 2011 when Jonathan was endorsed.

“Ohanaeze by refusing to endorse President Jonathan has taken a cue from Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s New Year sermon at the Adoration Ground, that Nigeria needs change for the better.

“As Mbaka said, ‘I love President Jonathan and I used to be his fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Jonathan and vote Buhari,” Okechukwu added.

According to him, “If the Hausas have spread their dragnets in both PDP and APC and Yorubas have spread their dragnets in both PDP and APC, then Ndigbo should not blame anybody for marginalisation in the event of APC’s victory in the February 14 presidential election.”

Okechukwu stressed that the APC in the South-east believes that Ohanaeze Ndigbo should remain neutral in the 2015 general election as there are Igbos in all the parties.

“Igbos are not only in PDP – we have Igbo sons and daughters in APC, the main opposition party in the country today.

“Our son, Chief Chekwas Okorie, is contesting under UPP, what happens to him if we endorse Jonathan? Ohanaeze is a polygamous father, we must spread our dragnet like our contemporaries in the Nigerian project.

“Like the Hausas and Yorubas, we should take the battle to every flank, not just one flank because if we channel all our arsenals to one flank, and it goes the other flank at the end of the day, nobody will take us serious if tomorrow again we start complaining about marginalisation,” he said.

He noted that only the self-serving Igbo politicians could rise up in the midst of the prevailing political scenario which favours APC to canvass for Jonathan’s endorsement

His post is indeed on point because of how it touches on what is most important above everything else after all is said and done. I.e the way the PDP has received a stupendous amount of money over 16 years (surely over $600 billion) and given Nigerians platitudes and "tokens" in return that some shameless sycophants now wish to celbrate as 'performance'. It will not work today. We are in the information age.

Even Nigerians who have never been to Togo, Uganda, Botswana, Ghana et al have phones that can put them at the centre of those nation so that they see what those we ridicule and claim to be better than are enjoying with their modest national incomes while we have nada for the billions of dollars PDP has literally shared amongst its cronies to the extent they are all now on private jet level. The brazen corruption GEJ literally flaunted in the faces of Nigerians insensitively is the core bone of contention that will see him abandoned and defeated rather easily in my opinion. Afterall, who wanted to identify with Samuel Doe and Idi Amin when the game was up?

Don't mind the crayon brat. He is simply the most annoying and dishonest Nairaland to post here. I warned them all but they would never listen. They even called me names when I told them that all that GEJ was doing would come back to haunt him seriously. The chap who is screaming here that the APGA dude is "fake" is the same poster who preferred to play Ostrich and insult others when we pointed out that Nigerians were observing and noting GEJ's support and empowerment of corruption and will pay him back in future.

See below yourself to note that, even as I may not be as active today, I never dulled in the past to highlight the brazen corruption GEJ abetted because I knew it was very important, come election time, to show how Jonathan was killing Nigeria. Nigerians took note of the point some of us made consistently even as the sycophants of GEJ (see below) preferred to insult others and lick the azz of their corrupt messiah. Time is up now. Forumers can go to the thread below, and many like it, to see that the enemies of Nigeria's progress have not changed at all over the years and remain committed to their corruption baron.

APC and its LIES!!!

This statement was not made by APGA, but by a Tinubu's aligned man in Lagos, WHO IS NOT EVEN THE CHAIRMAN OF APGA IN LAGOS like he claimed.

There is currently a leadership crisis in AGPA Lagos, where this same guy and his shameless Tinubu aligned ilks were rejected by some AGPA members.
http://dailyindependentnig.com/2014/12/leadership-crisis-rocks-lagos-apga/
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/apga-petitions-lagos-cp-impostor-exco/

APGA ALREADY ADOPTED GEJ AS THEIR ONLY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE, a decision which was ratified in AGPA's National convention less than a month ago http://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/164410/1/apga-ratifies-obianos-appointment-as-leader-bot-ch.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheNigerianVoiceNews+%28The+Nigerian+Voice+News%29

This is Tinubu's PUNCH Newspaper doing their dirty politics again. But they should give it up: THERE IS NON WAY ON EARTH IGBOS WOULD NOT VOTE FOR GEJ MASSIVELY, NOR WOULD THEY EVER CONTEMPLATE VOTING FOR 'FUNDAMENTALIST' BUHARI OVER GEJ. That would NEVER happen!! I just finished typing and ready to post in response to Gbawe's above post but so sad I mistakenly pressed return button twice and the whole stuff went to thin air. But going thru your post gave me a consolation because it is as thesame as my intended post. God bless you guyz. We will get our nation back from these present political and economic scavengers.

Amen *in Rev.Mbaka's voice* cool cool cool

This is information is for the wise only !!!

Are You Aware?
• That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni
bought Nigeria's moribund M-TEL/NITEL for
$252M?
Are You Aware?
• That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni
bought the Ibadan (PHCN) Disco Distribution?
Are You Aware?
• That Skye Bank Plc Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni
donated a whopping N2Billion to President
Goodluck's re-election fund on Saturday 20th
December?
Are You Aware?
• That President Goodluck Jonathan just after 2
days of receiving # 2B donation from Skye Bank
Plc chairman, has approved
increase in tariff of PHCN?
......
Its unfortunate that people who supports Jonathan
misrule to continue thinks they are doing Buhari
harm. The only harm being done is to themselves
and every other Nigeria.
By 2019, our country would have been completely
sold to the highest bidder and nothing will be left
for the honest and hard-working Nigerians.
If you hate Buhari because he is a Muslim, at least
look at his Vice, he is a Pastor.
If you hate Buhari because he doesn't have a
"Primary Six certificate", as some are claiming,
look at his Vice, he is a Professor of Law.
If you fear that as a formal military leader, Buhari
may have the tendency of not upholding the rule of
law, then look at his Vice, he is a distinguished
Lawyer and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Even if you think Buhari has nothing to offer, he
cannot be as hopeless corrupt and harmful to
Nigerians as Jonathan's Government.
You have no reason to allow this corrupt
administration to continue till 2019 when you can
booth them out now.
