You don't need an academic result to secure a tourist visa. The next thing the agent will say, is for you to part away with a huge sum.

Be wise!

-then i wuold be in london and thot goingby train into paris wont be a bad idea to add to my vacation period (just for about 3days or maybe jus a day trip but my flight, hotel and insurance says 1week term)

Now i have the fflg docs ready and addressed to the French embassy, please confirm if this docs are ok to go and if my passport would be out by max 20th dec. if i submit latest monday dec 1st?

-copies of my 2 passport data pages
-copeies of all visas on them
-employment letter
-promotion letter
-introduction/leave notification letter
-photocopy of my work ID card
-payslip from may till date
-salary acct bank statement from may till date

Your agent sounds like a crook. You don't need academic results for a visit visa. Please be careful.

Yes. You can go ahead and submit by the first of December. Your visa should be out in 10 working days or less.

I have a friend that is travelling to China through Airfrance, he apply for B - transit Visa in france embassy so that he can do a bit of sightseeing in the city of france before the boarding the next flight to China. But he was issued A - transit visa which I think it strict him within the Airport..

Do you think the A -transit visa issued to him was as an error? Do you think he can still use the A - transit visa to do some sightseeing as well? OR reapply for a B - transit Visa?

I need candid advice..

It can't be in error, France Embassy gets skeptical when it comes to issuance of entry visas to Nigerians.

Hello. What program would you be studying at AUP? How many weeks or months is the program? Do you have enough to cover the cost of the program, housing etc? These are important questions you need to ask and am sure the French embassy would look at as well.

Nope. He can't use the visa for sightseeing. If he wants to sightsee he should apply for a regular visit/tourist visa.

Yes… I did apply from Lagos, but I'm not so sure my previous travel history counts, I have only been to the UAE (Abu Dhabi).

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by worry359(m): 5:40pm On Jan 23, 2015
Looks like it's NOT possible to extend visa in France, and the penalties for overstaying are a big fine and possible ban.
After the terror attacs France WILL be very strict on visitors.

Can I extend my stay directly in France or in the Schengen Area at the end of my visa?

No, immigration rules are extremely strict on that point: you must return to your country of residence at the end of your stay or validity of your visa. You might face deportation if you do not comply with this obligation.
