But please does it mean as a Nigerian, one cannot go to Finland to study as an undergraduate? |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by uzhi(m): 9:33pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
God will make way for you my brother. With prayer, all things are possible. Though my own admission starts this morning around 8am and will close on the 18th feb. |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 9:42pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
Omosholakunmi:No jorr... you can study in finland as an undergraduate, it's just a slightly different way. I think they conduct entrance exams. Go to studyinfinland (dot) fi and do a quick research. You'll get the answers you want/need in 20 minutes. |

Hi all, pls I'll like to know if anyone had sent his/ her own transcript together with his/ her application package in one envelope to Aalto University and it was accepted. Thanks |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by uzhi(m): 10:10pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
I don't think one can do that. The instruction is that the school should send transcript, even if one is sending it, the school name should be used. |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 10:14pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
Goskian:I sent my transcript to Univ. Admiss. Finland in d same envelope as my "application package", they ignored d transcript and asked for it to be sent directly by the awarding institution. So, I guess this answers your question. |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by uzhi(m): 10:19pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
@ sureboy, I didn't though I know how things works there. I only applied to Tallinn University in Estonia and Eastern Finland university. |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Goskian(m): 10:29pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
sureb0y:Ok, but Aalto University accepts their application directly and not through UAF, so their's may be different |
| Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 11:13pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
Goskian:Oh... really? best to contact dem den. Theirs could be different. |

Thanks |

Hello Peeps, For guys that have not written the English Language test, I will advise you opt for PTE Academic. It's a computer based test. I did mine on Wednesday (7 Jan 2015) by 10am and got my result on Thursday (8 Jan 2015) by 7am. From research I carried out online and from my personal experience it's easy to ace PTE Academic, the only draw back might be the speaking section, it involves some technicalities that can be learned by practicing. I practiced for about a week and scored 73/90 which is similar to 7.5 in IELTS (Listening - 75, Reading - 77, Speaking - 47, Writing - 90). The requirement for most schools is between 59 - 62 (6.5 IELTS). You can practice from PTE official site, just google "PTE Academic", also vital information and tips can be found on an Indian forum for guys seeking for Australian residency google "expatforum PTE". Cost - N38,600 Register - Online, PTE official site (using MasterCard or Visa card) I hope this information will be useful to peeps that are running out of time and want to meet the Jan 31 deadline for most schools |
