Did u guys notice dat it was after Yaya left Barca dat he started getting all these recognition and accolades, even though Barca were d best team as at then?
Sometimes u just have to step away from dat comfort zone to achieve ur own destiny.

I will be rooting for Ivory Coast to win AFCON 2015 since thats what Yaya hasnt won but at the same time I fear he might not win it considering how his country has performed in previous editions.

With Enyeama losing out to Yaya, I doubt Neuer stand any chance of winning the World best ahead of Messi and Ronaldo.

For equity and justice, I suggest separate awards be created for goalkeepers too

he's gud but not last three gud. i'm starting to think that african player of the year award is now for players who play big teams. much like the aboutrikka case and the outright insult caf delivered to mputu mabi....best local african player of the year...wat rubbish...they were better than the other contenders dat year.

yaya toure may be the best...but that is a very sad event for african football seeing as he's really not that grt.

Really this dude deserves it. He is the best african soccer player out there,probably one of the few who don't really do it for the money.
