VolvoS60:FFK sinned and has asked for forgiveness. Jonathan, Bianca and indeed the Igbos are no Herod or Agrippa that would rather remain vindictive than reap the auspicious benefits of forgiveness. Agents of destablisation should learn to fight their own wars without trying to drag the Igbos into needless fuss. |

berem:It is heartwarming that you guys that want to foist foreign gods on the Igbos are not having your ways. You are only having the highway! |

maestroferddi:^^^ Nairaland's tribal politics holds no attraction for me. I have more useful things to do. Which is why I focus on individuals and what they do. Or what they don't do. Mr fani-kayode is a poor excuse for a man, an old man at that. I take exception to the excuses you were making for him. It would perhaps be understandable if a teenager were gloating among contemporaries about his past girlfriends. But a fifty something year old man? And before a national audience? As I said before, only in Nigeria could a man like this rise to become a federal minister. And that's why we are not talking about what he was able (or unable) to achieve in office, but instead we are talking about alleged romantic liaisions of thirty years ago. ![]() We are not serious. |

FolarinLondon:You are just too daft to understand anything. So why don't you follow in the footstep of FFK, go to the national television and announce the names of the ladies you've slept with. Everything is not about politics, somethings are just morally wrong. |

Little wonder the former President Obasanjo said "I know Femi Fani Kayode, give him food to chop, he will sing and dance for you."

Did Ojukwu kill your father? Why is it that you always have running stomach on hearing his name? Your hate for the man is explicit. adaybayor: |

angelsing:On the other hand I wonder what type of open mind you meant. Maybe you don't know that Fani's assignment does not include covering the South East as he is concerned with his region. Then coming to the issue of sleeping together, when has it become a taboo a Yoruba boy sleeping with an Igbo girl? So none of all other people in the campaign team who are not Igbos had had crush with one Igbo girl or the other. I am a woman, if I allow any man through my legs it is my problem. It is my burden if he goes about singing it, so it does not add up to politics. Now let me tell you where the wisdom is applied. If there is anybody who ought to be on that campaign team it is FKK. Considering how he badmouthed Jonatnha and PDP, now being a dog he is, they have made him lick his vomit in the open. The only problem I have with my generation is that we don't keep records for that we chase shadows always. His appointment is a damage to his personality than any other person so you or your Juliana-singing Tony Okoroji missed it. Talking about leadership what can Tony Okoroji present as his achievment as PMAN president at a time? Talk is cheap especially under Goodluck. He should have written to OBJ about how he slept with his daughter in-law and he will be dinning with the likes of BOLA IGE and HARRY MARSHALL. |

Sloan:You are an incredibly stupiid person for making a statement like that about the late Dim Ojukwu. Do you know why Ojukwu is revered amongst the Igbos? It is because he fought and led an armed struggle despite all odds for the liberation of his people. He had the heart to fight for his people when others like Awolowo were prepared to lead his people into "Northern slavery". Yes Ojukwu lost the war and yes millions died but the Igbo's hold Dim in the highest regard because freedom is one of the few things in life worth dying for and Igbo's are not cowards to run away from a fight because of the fear of defeat. As for your ignorant post that Ojukwu did not lead a war front, where in the history of modern warfare have you heard about a head of state personally leading a battle front? To this day,Ojukwu and to a smaller extent,Isaac Borro are the only people in Nigeria who have ever fought to liberate their people from oppression of the powers that be. All others fought for their pockets. |

* I have never seen any school built in his name. * I have never seen any borehole constructed by him. * There is no record of any scholarship awarded by him or for him nor through him. * I have never seen him use his popularity to canvass for any charitable work nor any humanitarian effort, not even at the height of the polio scourge where other purposeful and prominent leaders lead the campaign for immunization. * No single text book has been donated to any school either by him, for him or through him. Little wonder he sentenced a seasoned professor to 100 yrs imprisonment- shame. * Asides from doing nothing, he has not improved himself since his exit from office. * No book written, no memoirs, no lectures, nothing. Little wonder he sentenced a seasoned professor to 100 yrs imprisonment- shame. * The only thing of note he can point to are his numerous interviews on the BBC Hausa station. * He never champion for a university in his state nor has he ever been involved in any kind of programme to better the lives of the Almajiris in Daura. * His entire existence has not lead to any meaningful development in Daura, yet they say he can change Nigeria. Doesn't charity begin at home again? * No wonder he was referred to as being ''perpetually unelectable''. * He is not a patron to any organization, group or association. * No professional body in Nigeria has ever invited him for their lecture, convention or gala night. * The only time any known form, body or human assemblage ever chose him to do anything for them was when the Boko Haram terrorist sect nominated him as their spoke person in the proposed talks with the Fed. Govt. He recently joined twitter because of elections. At 72 what does he have to offer? I need change, we all need change but Gen Buhari isn't the answer! If Buhari presidential election, na big slap on Naija Youths. Pls Share |

beopened:True talk my broda. Well written script by Tony. The worst appointment by Jonathan was that of Fani Kayode. They dropped the charges of corruption hanging on him to make him a PDP spokesman. Why is it that ONLY ROGUES and corrupt/ex-convicts are people that form PDP. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND why PDP has the largest members of corrupt politicians in Africa. I do not like APC but I think we need to see a better political party for this nation because for now, no Party. |
