What do you mean by 'youthful exuberance?' angry

The man is over half a century old for goodness sake!

This is a man (with teenage children of his own!) bragging about who he was and was not romantically involved with. Classic case of arrested development. angry

It says a lot about Nigeria that this sort of man rose to become a federal minister.
FFK sinned and has asked for forgiveness.

Jonathan, Bianca and indeed the Igbos are no Herod or Agrippa that would rather remain vindictive than reap the auspicious benefits of forgiveness.

Agents of destablisation should learn to fight their own wars without trying to drag the Igbos into needless fuss.

you're not making sense just like you're fellow Jonathan Igbo lickers.

Excuse me!
It is heartwarming that you guys that want to foist foreign gods on the Igbos are not having your ways.

You are only having the highway!

Nairaland's tribal politics holds no attraction for me. I have more useful things to do.

Which is why I focus on individuals and what they do. Or what they don't do. Mr fani-kayode is a poor excuse for a man, an old man at that. I take exception to the excuses you were making for him. It would perhaps be understandable if a teenager were gloating among contemporaries about his past girlfriends. But a fifty something year old man? And before a national audience?

As I said before, only in Nigeria could a man like this rise to become a federal minister. And that's why we are not talking about what he was able (or unable) to achieve in office, but instead we are talking about alleged romantic liaisions of thirty years ago. angry

We are not serious.

For God sake, why can't you guys just shut your mouth and let the sleeping dog lies.

Has Ojukwu become God?

If Chief Fani Kayode goes to the East, what would they do?

Then, you should expect Yorubas to ask Orji to go back to the East for calling Lagos a no man's land..........

Why are you guys always looking for trouble where there is none and when the trouble arrives; victims mentality set in........

Is Ojukwu more handsome than Chief Femi Fani Kayode? Capital No.

Realistically, If one of these two guys Ojukwu and Fani Kayode were to be match with Bianca, who do you think has got everything to be picked/chosen, Fani Kayode of course

Did he tell anyone that Bianca was a virgin when he met her? What is the big deal about Fani Femi Kayode banging Bianca?

They were both young when the whole thing happened and have moved on after that

I remembered what led to the whole thing that made Chief fani kayode to talk about it and he was only trying to prove his relationship with Igbos by saying that he knows certain prominent Igbo women .......................... but igbos quickly picked on his words simply cos he told them what any Yoruba leaders are yet to tell Igbos................
You are just too daft to understand anything. So why don't you follow in the footstep of FFK, go to the national television and announce the names of the ladies you've slept with. Everything is not about politics, somethings are just morally wrong.
Re: Tony Okoroji's Open Letter To Jonathan by spenca: 1:09pm On Jan 11, 2015
Little wonder the former President Obasanjo said "I know Femi Fani Kayode, give him food to chop, he will sing and dance for you."

Try and read with an open mind, forget ur love for Jonathan first and see where he said choosing FFK as the campaign manager is an insult on the igbo people considering his antecedent...He was trying to point out FFK as a bad candidate to be on his Team
On the other hand I wonder what type of open mind you meant.

Maybe you don't know that Fani's assignment does not include covering the South East as he is concerned with his region. Then coming to the issue of sleeping together, when has it become a taboo a Yoruba boy sleeping with an Igbo girl? So none of all other people in the campaign team who are not Igbos had had crush with one Igbo girl or the other. I am a woman, if I allow any man through my legs it is my problem. It is my burden if he goes about singing it, so it does not add up to politics.

Now let me tell you where the wisdom is applied. If there is anybody who ought to be on that campaign team it is FKK. Considering how he badmouthed Jonatnha and PDP, now being a dog he is, they have made him lick his vomit in the open. The only problem I have with my generation is that we don't keep records for that we chase shadows always.

His appointment is a damage to his personality than any other person so you or your Juliana-singing Tony Okoroji missed it. Talking about leadership what can Tony Okoroji present as his achievment as PMAN president at a time?

Talk is cheap especially under Goodluck. He should have written to OBJ about how he slept with his daughter in-law and he will be dinning with the likes of BOLA IGE and HARRY MARSHALL.

Tony Okoroji still praising the convicted felon war monger Onjukwu as king in Iboland? Well, that is only in Iboland that a king lost a war with 3 M dead and he still respected? In the days of the Great Oyo Empire of the Yorubas, the titans to the West, the Crown Jewel, even if a commander lost a handful of warriors in a mission, he was as good as dead. Never mind that the Yoruba Generals must never come home after losing a war: he just had to win or die trying! All these, while leading from the front and actually fighting all the way till he wins with his army or dies and the next in command takes over and must complete the mission. On the other hand, a mere lieutenant colonel Ojukwu sequesters himself in a small bunker and was hiding from Enugu to Anambra, never leading an offensive for even 10 minutes and he is the ibo king?

Well, the story today justifies why you folks are where you are. Jonapafuka will appoint Adolf Hitler and Stalin if if will help him come close to winning and he doesn't care about any silly opinion about Fani Kayode and of all reasons, that he banged Bainca the ambassador to Spain doesn't mean shaite: she can blame herself. For Fani, OBJ summed it all up when he said Fani is his boy, give him some food and he will sing for you. Now, how much singing will Fani do for N 500 M+ corruption he is trying to escape from, courtesy of the EFCC Jona is killing to ensure Fani and corrupt Nigerians escape? Stealing is not corruption as per the dumbass president!
I think u re gud, but I perceive in ur write up a slight trait of ethnic bigotism by attaching undue relevance and exaggerating elite yoruba heroics! But overall u re gud!

You are an incredibly stupiid person for making a statement like that about the late Dim Ojukwu. Do you know why Ojukwu is revered amongst the Igbos? It is because he fought and led an armed struggle despite all odds for the liberation of his people. He had the heart to fight for his people when others like Awolowo were prepared to lead his people into "Northern slavery". Yes Ojukwu lost the war and yes millions died but the Igbo's hold Dim in the highest regard because freedom is one of the few things in life worth dying for and Igbo's are not cowards to run away from a fight because of the fear of defeat. As for your ignorant post that Ojukwu did not lead a war front, where in the history of modern warfare have you heard about a head of state personally leading a battle front? To this day,Ojukwu and to a smaller extent,Isaac Borro are the only people in Nigeria who have ever fought to liberate their people from oppression of the powers that be. All others fought for their pockets.

* I have never seen any school built in his name.
* I have never seen any borehole constructed by him.
* There is no record of any scholarship
awarded by him or for him nor through him.
* I have never seen him use his popularity to canvass
for any charitable work nor any humanitarian
effort, not even at the height of the polio scourge
where other
purposeful and prominent leaders lead the campaign
for immunization.
* No single text book has been donated to any school
either by him, for him or through him. Little wonder
he sentenced a seasoned professor to 100 yrs
imprisonment- shame.
* Asides from doing nothing, he has not improved
himself
since his exit from office.
* No book written, no memoirs, no lectures,
nothing. Little wonder he sentenced a seasoned
professor to 100 yrs imprisonment- shame.
* The only thing of note he can point to are his
numerous interviews on the BBC Hausa station.
* He never champion for a university in his state nor
has he ever been involved in any kind of programme
to better the lives of the Almajiris in Daura.
* His entire existence has not lead to any meaningful
development in Daura, yet they say he can change
Nigeria.
Doesn't charity begin at home again?
* No wonder he was referred to as being
''perpetually unelectable''.
* He is not a patron to any organization, group or
association.
* No professional body in Nigeria has ever invited
him for their lecture, convention or gala night.
* The only time any known form, body or human
assemblage ever chose him to do
anything for them was when the Boko Haram
terrorist sect nominated him as their spoke person in
the proposed talks with the Fed. Govt. He recently
joined twitter because of elections.
At 72 what does he have to offer?
I need change, we all need change but Gen Buhari
isn't the answer!
If Buhari presidential election, na big slap on Naija

True talk my broda. Well written script by Tony. The worst appointment by Jonathan was that of Fani Kayode. They dropped the charges of corruption hanging on him to make him a PDP spokesman. Why is it that ONLY ROGUES and corrupt/ex-convicts are people that form PDP. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND why PDP has the largest members of corrupt politicians in Africa. I do not like APC but I think we need to see a better political party for this nation because for now, no Party.

Very true,my friend. He could have etched his name on the gold tablet of martyrs;becoming a legend and bestowed upon,a god-complex. The Ojukwu that should have died in 1970 is greater and more honorable than the man who died decades later.
