I do mine in a big pan with little or no oil just to sear it,add black pepper,salt and meat cube then throw it in the oven until cooked medium rare....

You expect e and a to be pronounced with an e sound like most times

But steak is pronounced like it was stake

In other news... There is no other way to eat steak except medium rare.. (This however does not apply to Nigerian Beef).

Last night I went out and decided to eat nkwobi. I was very surprise when I saw about 4 big crayfish inside the nkwobi with no utazi leaf added at all because that's not how my mum taught me ... I was so irritated that I couldn't even eat the nkwobi again. Maybe its because of the fact that I hate big crayfish and only use it when ever I prepare coconut rice and there was also no feel of utazi leaf, it made it worst for me to eat although, the pepper was enough. To think I paid a whole 700 naira for it

My question is this. Is crayfish suppose to be part of the ingredient used in preparing nkwobi and is utazi leaf not necessarily needed when preparing nkwobi?

Normally Crayfish is part of it..but it should be Beaten*manual* not with machine. Am wonderin how u were able to see it.
Also utazi leaf is part of it. It depends on ppus preference, either it's done plain or with the Leaf.

@ armyofone, Use allegro marinade and marinade it overnight
The hickory flavour is great,so are the original and teriyaki but hickory is my favorite
That is the only marinade I use and recommend
The beef will come out delish,I promise

Lunch- Beans and stew.....chillisauce I forgot the fried beans but won't forget to try it next time.

Dinner- vegetable soup & wheat.
