Check your apps if Kinguser has been installed. If you find Kinguser, then your phone has probably been rooted. Maybe you didn't grant the root checker root access.

when I did my backup, all I installed was MTK droid tools and the vcom drivers.... I don't think you can do a successful backup without the vcom drivers bt Google could help tho

this phone shows FILE ADBD NOT INSTALLED when you press the root button with Droid tools. even after rooting.... Does any one have solution for this?
