Why won't they be overwhelmed when the government is arming them with sophisticated weapons (AA, tanks,AT, RPGs etc) while they arm the innocent boys with AK47! They still go ahead to inform bokoboys of the soldiers location and the composition of their convoy!!!
Lastly how could Bokoharam move through Maiduguri in a convoy of 50 vehicles while the state was under emergency?
