He said his name was now HRH Mohammadu Sanusi 11 and not Lamido Sanusi.

This is what the Fulani Born to rule are good at. They are good politicians. They can read the mood of the people.

Sanusi Lamido is a Fulani man. The throne is an Hausa throne, and their king is referred to as Sarkin Kano before the Fulani took over. As there is only one king under the caliphate, the Sultan of Sokoto is the only king and the rest are princes and called Emir.

Now, Sanusi want to declare his independence and say he is a king like Sultan of Sokoto that is why he wants to be referred to as Sarkin Kano.

The only BUT is that Sanusi is a Fulani man lording it over the Hausa's the way Emir of Ilorin, Sulu Gambari is lording it over the Yoruba's in Ilorin.

We need an end to the BORN TO RULE.

Sarki is a Hausa title while Emir is an Arabic title.

An Emir is not an Arabic tittle but an Islamic title.

An Emir reigns over an Emirate which is the same as a region or state under an Islamic Nation.

A Sultanate is comprised of several Emirates.

A Sultanate is the same as a Calipate. Thus a Sultan is Persian while a Caiphate is for Arabic controlled Islamic territory.

This is valid proof that northern Nigetia has since been arabized and islamized.

These positions are reserved for only Hausa/Fulani Moslems.
