You are only proving to be either bigots who need something to distract those who are not enlightened or you are simply not enlightened.

You don't get issued a certificate twice. Buhari has done more than is required and if you're not satisfied with that, you simply are showing your inability to focus on the germane issues.

If you're so confident about Buhari not being qualified to run for President, simply go to court and get him disqualified and stop portraying Nigerians as a totally ignorant bunch of people.

Thank you very much.

The certificates issue is absolutely irrelevant. We should focus on their visions for improving Nigeria and their leadership skills and integrity.

Jonathan is scared of a presidential debate with Buhari that's why his party keeps enlongating the Buhari certificate saga and his eligiblity to contest.
FFK should dare Buhari for a debate with Jonathan and let's see how it goes.

I watched Femi Fani-Kayode yesterday at his press briefing and he made a slip. He acknowledged that he was trying to create doubt when he said "General Buhari's attempt to remove doubt..."

He didn't say "General. Buhari's attempt to prove he has results".

Nigerians disappoint me daily with the quality of or lack of intelligence majority of our people show. I see it in many aspects of our daily lives.

jokes apart, deep down within you, you know that Gej will floor Buhari in any debate. The best tactics your APC might consider is to use Osinbajo during the presidential debates and that's even if its possible. Please lets be reasonable here

A statement from Cambridge today states;

The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), now known as Cambridge Assessment, in response to requests to authenticate a candidate’s exam certificate, today said: “We can only confirm or verify results at the direct request of or with the permission of a candidate.”

note that this statement was made in response to "Nigerian Presidential election enquiries"

so if Cambridge is waiting for Buhari's request to confirm or verify results, doesn't it mean that yes, he was a candidate but details can only be given at his request?

mind you, this is Cambridge we are talking about; they would have easily said "the subject of your enquiry does not exist in our records, moreover we can only confirm or verify results at the direct request of or with the permission of a candidate"

The response from Cambridge clearly indicates that Buhari was a candidate, what they didn't however divulge is the details of his result.

80% of the so called educated people in Nigeria are actually illiterates! I don't blame Fani Kayode, whose job is, to distract the less informed Nigerians from asking his Principal to account for his 6years of economic wastage and insecurity!

I beg to disagree!

The certificate issue bothers seriously on the integrity of the candidate! It has to be dealt with in the most transparent way possible. As it stands, there still matters arising. The one concerned should quickly, and transparently deal with any and all inconsistencies observed. Only then can it be put to rest!

The more you guys start threads to explain what is a non-issue, the more you are giving a false sense of credibility to a case that should be laughed at and dismissed.

Anyone not convinced should go to court.

Inec has made its stance on the issue known- end of story

The bolded is the crust of the matter. One man claimed integrity and has been anything but a person of integrity in this whole certificate matter. A man of integrity will not lie under oath. A man of integrity will not avoid press questions on the day he himself called a press conference. A man of integrity will not enter Nigerian Army with only a letter of recommendation. And that's just on the certificate saga.
Don't get me started about his refusal to condemn boko, his pledge to islamise Nigeria. His vote at OAU against a Nigerian in favour of a Niger Republic Muslim Fulani, His shouting "halaka" after woefully losing his last contest, etc, etc, etc.

The certificate issue is as relevant as they come because Nigerians have the right to not only know the plans these leaders have for them but foremost know if these leaders are qualified in character, experience and certification to lead them...Any question mark amongst these attributes can only spell doom for the subjects therefore this certificate matter is (unfortunately due to Buhari's sloppiness) THE most important issue,of the issue based campaign they keep yapping about, on ground right now.

Common sense has become scarce. The painful truth is that a large proportion of the Nigerian population are ignorant beyond redemption. I would not say the majority but if you have 50 million + ignorants in a country, you are in deep trouble.

Strawman arguments.

Trying to deflect the fact that asking for Buhari’s certificate when he will never have it because it is lost is at least dubious.

I won't say much about the certificates since the secondary school has done the needful. It is a shame how the PDP try to use the certificate as a diversion to cause friction within the APC supporters but it will fail

Politicians are known for lying so I don't care about little lies here and there that have no material impact on the way the country is governed. If Buhari doesn't have a certificate, who cares? The man's literacy, knowledge and intelligence have nothing to do with that ancient piece of paper.

No need to speculate. Let us see if President Jonathan will agree to a proper debate in 2015 that he refused to enter in 2011 against General Buhari.

Now who's being insincere? WAEC said he can request for a copy. Cambridge University said he can request for a copy. Whay are you saying he can never have it?

Maybe we should throw our constitution into the atlantic ocean. Lying in court under oath is ok as long as you have literacy, knowledge and intelligence

Emphasis on the word "copy". Then you will argue that it is not the original just like you are arguing now. The exam sheet is perfect for those who were sincerely interested in General Buhari’s results.

No, I won't. If it comes from Cambridge or WAEC, I will accept it.
But he still lied under oath.

You cannot put words in the mouth nor presume the stance of Cambridge, besides that, if we was to follow your perspective it also means Buhari sat for WAEC because this same notice about candidate direct permission was also spelt out by WAEC too...was Buhari also a WAEC candidate in 1961??.

This is boring, go to court when they call off their strike. That is better, you get the chance to outrightly disqualify General Buhari and President Jonathan can get reelected easily.

Common sense solution for you.

The more you persist, the more popular Buhari will get.
