Another lost local government due to carelessness from our government. I'm pained. Yet those who aren't affected come here wanting Goodluck to continue, have a rethink. This thing will spread if not contained. Cc: Lalasticlala, Seun, Obinoscopy, Ishilove. |

There is something fishy going on. First and foremost,it is not the duty of the president to decide whether to attack the insurgents or not. The president has given orders that the insurgents be done away with. What I do not understand,is how those at the helm of affairs in the military, carry out their assignments. It's either the military high command is deliberately doing this to mess the govt up,or are sympathetic to the cause of boko haram. |

I feel for the ordinary Nigerians in the North East that now suffer terrorist attacks because of the poor leadership of Jonathan. |

chronique: Don't you see it? The president was selfish! By concentrating all the forces on securing himself thereby indirectly giving a free pass to boko haram. Is it hard to guess that if the armed forces are concentrated on one side, boko haram won't seize the opportunity to attack? It's just like helping them do their work. The air force was urgently solicited to bomb Boko Haram terrorist en-route Maiduguri and Momngunu, however no dispatch order was made, and rather according to veritable sources, the air force jets and helicopters concentrated on giving cover to the president’s rally in Maiduguri while the terrorists made their way to the capital and as was reported in the news, burned down Kambari village, 5 kilometers from Maiduguri, killing 15 people including the village head. It was unthinkable that such an army of terrorists were operating just 5 kilometers from where the president was with thousands of troops protecting him and the troops were not rather engaging the terrorists. |

chronique: Here we go again! GEJ appointed the military chiefs, he can also fire them! A president must never be indecisive. He is C-in-C, and he should act like one. When you let subordinates know that failure is not even an option to contemplate, they will fall in line. So, wailing that some military commanders are sabotaging the FG just doesn't cut it! 1 Like |

I understand that and sometimes when I think about these things,I wonder wht the service chiefs aren't being fired. But then again,I think about how much damage they can do with the amount of information they have,if they're fired. In an army where there are moles and reports of sabotage, firing top ranked officers must be done with caution. Volksfuhrer: |
