Though I ain't partisan but Reno is right ,Nigeria's' problem is the lack of strong institutions. Throwing corrupt officials in prison will not stop corruption, it will just make individuals more professional and discreet when they steal.
You need to put systems in place that would prevent stealing. 90% of politicians in both parties are corrupt now will you throw them all in prison, hell no...
For instance, what reduces shoplifting in shop rite or any other large supermarket, it's not that people who shop there are saints, but simply the knowledge that cameras are installed by every stall.....

When did pdp's logo become a vacuum cleaner? I thought it was an umbrella, which btw is also very analog. Very poor display of analytical skills by the writer.

Yes I agree with you that prevention is better than cure but if I may ask is corruption is not preventable anymore because it has been inflicted into the fibres of Nigeria already and the only solution is the cure , the cure is GMB/PYO. SHIKENNAH!

Well Said bro!!! It is The enthronement of strong institutions That GEJ is working on. APC Are only concerned with corruption and uprightness, which Are Good virtues too, but without strong institutions to drive The government will eventually lead to inefficiency and ineffectiveness of government.
Someone once Said That The late President of Tazania, Julius Nyerere was So incorruptible and upright and That this incorruptible virtue has thrown Tazania into deep poverty and backwardness, which They Are yet to recover from until today.
We, therefore should be wary of The incorruptible candidate when casting our votes.

This does not make sense at all! You are basically suggesting that the corrupt leader is better than one that is not. This is not true. It is not enough to be upright and incorruptible, you also need to be a good leader. You can be a Saint without knowing how to lead the people, and you can be corrupt and also not know how to lead your people.

A good leader needs to be incorruptible, visionary and full of ability to steer the country in the right way

Now Mr. Reno wants us to start using vacuum cleaners instead of brooms, the question is how many v.cleaners are produced here in naija, so they intend to use our money to import v.cleaners instead of spending our money on naija made brooms there by promoting our local industries. No to v.cleaners, yes to naija made brooms. #Ourmindsaremadeup. Team egbeonigbale.

We Are saying the same thing. Read My write-up again, you will see That I Said Incorruption and uprightness Are good virtues, but above all We need strong institutions to make government work.
You only quoted part of My write-up in Error.
