I won't say anything but all I know is that Bishop shouldn't involve himself in Politics, its normal for him to have a candidate he likes but shouldn't do it to the extent of getting himself involved in Political mess,he should learn from Daddy G.O Adeboye.

IMHO, the church waited too long to release this. I know Bishop doesn't like responding to attacks against his personality but the church should have quickly nipped this in the bud. Releasing a statement days after the incident doesn't really portray seriousness. The statement credited to the bishop was a very weighty one and considering the fact that it was a complete fabrication rather than being misquoted, the church should have come out immediately to say so.

Prayer prayer prayer! To me its still "all words, no action", a standard modus operandi for GEJ. Perhaps after praying Oyedepo should have asked the president what he is doing about the killing of innocent Nigerians in the north east. He Oyedepo should have used the God given opportunity to ask the president what he did about the immigration job scam where jobless Nigerians loss their life. He Oyedepo should have asked Jonathan what happened to the 6 billion naira collected from those jobless youths?, Oyedepo should have asked what and what did he do to the people who scammed jobless Nigerians in broad day light?.

Oyedepo is not Lai Muhamed that rejoices every time Nigerians are killed by Boko haram, but questions any success of our military.

I fellowship with winners before i change to redeemed, i recently worship with dunamis, for now i have decided to worship in any denomination since we all called on one God in heaven. Sentiment aside GEJ has failed us, i may not have time to analyse his failure, first impression matter they said, if he fails for six years, next 4yrs will not be exceptional. My vote goes to GMB i need Change.

"If Buhari was pictured attending a mosque, and it was reported that the Imam said 'he would open the gates to hell upon those who oppose Buhari', and Buhari sat there and said nothing, what do you think many people would be saying today?

If Buhari was pictured going to different mosques and kneeling before Imams, as part of his campaign, what do we think the comments would be?

If Buhari was pictured going on pilgrimage to Mecca, surrounded by a retinue of fawning Imams, what would the response be from Nigerians?

If Buhari invited senior Imams from across the country to a meeting with him, to discuss the elections and his campaign strategy, what would the Nigerian people think?

GEJ has done all the above, and we are told he has a right to do so as a committed christian. Buhari has done none of the above yet he is called a religious fundamentalist with a plan to turn Nigeria into an Islamic nation.

Please examine the facts so we can honestly decide who is acting like the real religious fundamentalist? Who is using religious faith as a political ploy to get votes?

No pastor, Bishop, GO, Reverend Father, Imam etc etc is GOD. They do NOT have the right to tell you who to vote for. Go out there and support the candidate of your choice. Make your choice based upon who will give you and your children a better life and a better Nigeria."

All we know how to do is to BLESS BLESS BLESS AND KEEP BLESSING people who are using their position in their own interest why the nation bleeds,

Is that how the prophets of old carried on while they were here?
How come we don't find rebuke, counsel and caution whenever people in power are in our churches but divine blessing for our leaders alone??
God Bless u for this comment and may you live long because I see u a person of truth

I just pity the church stations in the North because they may not reason with your GO.

Bishop is getting too much involved in politic PDP to be precise. Will all know where Jonathan went during last election (RCCG) he now ran to Winners now because counterpart Osinbanjo from RCCG.

We all know the truth about this. National cake tinz.

Bishop Oyedepo cannot defend what he did not create. If got allows the miscreants in Tuesday north to desecrate his church, so be it.... We dont defend our defender

Amen!!!

I was in that service and nothing of the nature of the peddled lie happened. Papa Oyedepo has never spoken in favour of any politcian as regards the up-coming election. Rather, he has always called for prayers for peace in Nigeria, for change, and against the BH and its sponsors.

I wonder what they hope to achieve with this.
undecided
