You can not address any ideology and culture that is entrenched in a man's DNA.

The little you can do is to totally overhaul the system of things and you'll need to kill a lot of people to achieve that your utopian society.

For example a fence has a boldly written inscription that says ;DO NOT URINATE HERE yet you'll see folks lining up few feets away doing their thing.So, the problem is your thought system that you've been exposed to and it becomes naturally impossible sometimes to have a fair overview of what is right from what is not right.

I'm sure this same attitude was solely responsible for landing that op on her futile journey because of ikwokrikwor.

Both of them are adults and capable of making their own decisions and living with same, hence its really not about it being right or wrong when viewed from that perspective but more about their personal preferences.

However, if I were in the dude's shoes I won't go ahead with the marriage. I can't see myself marrying a lady that young. Even when the age difference is not much, I think she needs to achieve some things for herself first before going ahead to tie the nut.
